great yarn with great stitch definition
The ply and sturdy nature of the yarn gives my projects fantastic stitch definition and gives me the hope that my projects will last. It is wonderful natural yarn to work with with deep lovely colors. The texture of the yarn isn't going to be the softest given the nature of the wool but feels like it is going to hold up better compared to merinos that are similarly priced but will pill quite easily.
My only complaint is in the nature of online shopping; unfortunately the barn color seems a little more dark/reddish brown in person than the pictures would suggest. All the other yarns I've got (apple pie, hickory and sage brush) seem true to the photos. I know this can differ depending on the screens we have. Just something to note!
