I bought a bunch of skeins of this yarn a couple of weeks ago. So far, it works up pretty well, and it's reasonably soft. Unfortunately, two out of six skeins were made of separate pieces tied together (not a single long yarn as expected), and one has a major knot in the middle that looks as if it's also multiple pieces tied together. I haven't given in and used that one yet, so I don't know how it will turn out to be. But only 50% of the skeins I've used have actually been single continuous yarns, so I'm taking a couple of stars off.

Nice yarn
This yarn is easy to work with. Doesn’t split. Fairly soft. I only gave it 4 stars because i like to pull yarn from the center and it’s impossible to find the center yarn pull end. End up pulling about half the center yarn out in a “yarn barf” which is very annoying!

Beginning End
I have used various brands of yarn and notice some purposely place the beginning end at the center just peeking out enough to easily grab and start my project without pulling out a giant wad. If some brands can do this, why can’t Lion Btand Basic Stitch?

Nice and clean lines
I bought the dusty pink, pine, silver, beige, and charcoal for a blanket and so far I’m very pleased with how the yarn is knitting up. I haven’t used or washed it yet so I’m not sure how it’ll do after that but so far it’s great and I’ve only had 1 knot in about 7 skeins.

Great basic yarn.
Using this yarn for a temperature blanket for my granddaughter. So far it’s working out beautifully.
I have noticed it tends to split a bit more than other yarns I’ve used.
I’m hoping it softens up after washing as well.
