Nice yarn for a baby blanket
I loved the yarn, it’s super soft and easy to work with. However, 2 skeins had too many knots, one had knots just a few inches apart.

My Spirit Yarn
I literally can't stop buying this yarn! The colors are the perfect mix of vibrance and subtlety and the texture is divine. I pair with Bundle Up in Marshmallow in almost all my projects for a soft white contrast.

Great
I've made 2 balaclavas with this, and used about 6 skeins so far. I love it. It's soft, easy to work with, and machine washable. It has some stretch without losing its shape.
Yes, there are a couple of knots but I just cut and retie in my own method.
I'm ordering more because so many people have asked me for these balaclavas.

Very soft but caution your hook
I really love the feel and colors of this yarn. However, it does split and get caught up. I realized early on that to use a very smooth and smaller hook (no bigger than 4.25mm) would make my efforts easier. I only had 1-2 knots per skein. I haven't washed the projects yet as made as gifts but if it doesn't pill up, I'll keep purchasing and using this. It really looks like no other, comparable yarn.

Knotted Ends in Middle of Skein
Very frustrating to find knotted breaks in each of the 2 skeins I have used so far. I am making a lacy summer blanket, so have had to frog back to the end each time to avoid an unsightly attach in the middle. Very frustrating!

Very soft, but has frustrating knots
I bought this yarn for a pattern I am testing for @/leroocrochet. I asked for the opinions of the more seasoned crocheters in the test on this yarn and after hearing what they thought, I bought it. Eight skeins of Dusty Blue and 3 skeins of Charcoal.
I’m only on the very first skein and I’ve already ran into 3 knots. The first came up during my gauge swatch and I was able to tuck it away, but the second one, as you can see in the picture, is blatantly sticking out. I just saw the third one while pulling out more yarn. It’s frustrating that this yarn that is one continuous color has more knots than necessary. It’s annoying enough when it’s a knot to change colors in a variegated skein, but I don’t understand knots in a tonal/solid color. I tug on each knot and none have slipped so I just snip the ends but it’s still annoying. I thankfully haven’t run into any of the frayed or thinned out portions other reviews have mentioned and hope it stays that way. Knots are enough of a headache.
I’m not as upset about the knot sticking out because the test will have ribbing that will cover the knot. It is just frustrating to deal with. I hope Lion Brand finds a way to fix this issue. It is a very lovely feeling yarn and smooth to work with, but no one likes crocheting with knots.

Too many knots/ cuts in one skein
I previously had bought this in lilac and there was only one knot/ cut in skein. I have a set of twins I’m making blankets for and figured I’d stick to same brand. Got so frustrated with all the knots/ cuts in one skein. I added pics. of 4 knots/ cuts in one skein. How is this acceptable? I crochet infrequently but enough to have never seen this many cuts in the yarn within one skein.

Terrible
This yarn is the worst I've ever used. It's frayed, knotted and difficult to work with. Its the first time I've used it and never again.

Horrible
This was horrible. It was a so frayed I only used part of the skein, I was shocked by what was unusable. I’m so disappointed because the texture is amazingly soft.

I love the yarn but what arrived was not the full skein I’d gotten in the store and was the wrong color. Can’t use it for my project- disappointed

Soft but lots of knots in skeins
This yarn is so soft and lovely to work with; however, there was at least one knot (and usually more than one) in every skein that I used. One skein had several cut ends showing on the outside of the skein so I did not even attempt to use it.

Knits up well, Good results!
I knit hats for chemo patients. I tried this yarn. It worked well for my purpose. Yarn is soft and easy to use. Good stitch definition. No defects in the yarn itself. I will certainly buy again!

Lion Brand Feels Like Butta Yarn
The yarn feels nice and soft, but disappointed in there are a lot of knots joining the strands in the yarn. Already well into project to stop. It’s just disappointing. :(

I would like to know what this is treated with to make it feel like butta. I broke out in a burning rash and returned the yarn.

so soft. so fragile.
bought a sweater worth of this yarn and was literally inches from finishing the bottom hem and frogged the whole thing. each skein had at least one knot, and up to four (in one skein!) and each skein had at least one place, and up to TEN, where the yarn thinned out and looked like it was missing threads. any tension on those areas and it spreads. the yarn would get roughly twice as long and half as thick. lovely to work with but i don't trust the strength of it to make a sweater with.
