yarn has a nice feel
I bought the antique white to make blankets for my granddaughters. I haven't really used this yarn before but it was the color I needed so I bought it. It has a really nice soft squishy feel. It doesn't split and is nice to work with. Big plus....there is a lot of yarn in this skein! Wish there were more colors.

Very Disappointed in Color
So I ordered the Waterfall Pound of Love because I loved the color of it. What I received is not at all what I expected. The original label on one of the skeins has "Hunter Green" and then has another label on top of it that has "Waterfall". There is a bluish hue to the pic of the "Waterfall" color. What I received does not have any blueish hue to it, but is just green, which is disappointing. But I love this yarn, so I will figure out something to crochet using it.

Only received part of my order
Great value and I love the yarn! However, I only received half my order even though it says it has all shipped when I look it up on the app. Very confused! I have a project that I need all that I ordered to complete, so it is on hold until I receive the rest of my order. Just hope it doesn’t take a month to get like my last order!!

The WORST yarn ever
The yarn itself isn’t too bad, but it’s nearly impossible to locate the starting point of the yarn from the center. I spent about $70,000 for all kinds of different yarns in the last two years, but I’ve never gone through this much of trouble with any other yarn. I spent hours to untangle about ten balls of yarn after I located the loose end. I had to cut the yarn many times to separate the massively matted yarn. I still have a few dozens to go. Sigh.

Horrible quality
First and last time using this yarn. Splits sooo easily and texture feels very itchy. Only got through 3 rows before frogging it all. Can’t imagine going through an entire skein for any project. Do not recommend

DO NOT RECOMMEND
I bought 12 colors of this yarn to make donation hats. The first color was completely knotted on itself and took hours to unknot. The second ball was stuffed full of short pieces that are unusable. I definitely do not recommend buying this yarn.

3 ends??
I was hoping to find a center-pull but instead I have found 3 ends coming from the outside. I thought maybe there was an accidental cut so I've been unwinding but so far I have unwound about 4 feet of each strand and it threads through itself, so it's not every like I could even just unwind from the outside without significant trouble. I don't consider this cheap yarn, so I'm very disappointed.

Wow. Seriously?
One item missing, although charged for it. A few items were out of stock, so adjustments to my online order are due. A whole pound of cut spaghetti noodles? Which clerk thought THIS item should be used to fill a pickup order? Seven or more cut/torn strands clearly hanging from this skein! Fourteen ends from who knows where in this mess of yarn! I'm not happy to be the recipient of this CLEARLY damaged mess! QUALITY IS GREAT, CONDITION IS HORRIBLE!

A favorite
I got this yarn in the pumpkin spice color, it’s soft and doesn’t split while crocheting with it. I’m in love with the color and can’t wait to attempt making a blanket with this yarn! I am making a poncho, I made one before using big twist value yarn, and while that was also not a bad yarn, lion brand one pound knocked it out of the park, the texture looks stellar and is much much softer in comparison.

Mocha is Awful
I bought a skein of the Mocha last year during the Black Friday week sales. This yarn is garbage, specifically this color! To try and get any useable yarn out from the middle is a joke. Every time I just got a massive ball of knotted up yarn. I have other colors that function just fine. But even once pulling out that ball and cutting and trying from there, it just keeps happening. I threw it out. The color is unique and I want to love it, but I can’t wind it up and I certainly won’t use the skein from the outside - the trash was the only place for it after countless frustrating tries. 2 stars is simply for the color itself, otherwise it’s 0-1.

Bought two skeins of yarn and got two lot numbers. Will never buy online and have it shipped to me again. Not sure what I am going to do now with these two ever so slightly different colors.

Starter end problem
Generally love this yarn, works out nicely and many colors. Unfortunately, when pulling from the inside, a starter end could not be found and I was left to unroll from the outside. I will purchase lion brand again but not before I find the end prior to paying!

Colors aren’t as described
Obviously the “pastel green” looks ice blue, so I couldn’t use it for the project I wanted to make, which was really frustrating. I copied the colors from the photo and everything to insure I was getting the correct colors, and it’s still not green. The olive green was what was advertised so no issues there. I just cannot believe this ice blue is meant to be “pastel green”, made me heart broken. I don’t have the money to buy more yarn right now so I just have to make dye with yarn I already had, so pretty disappointing. Wish lion brand advertised their colors better. The quality of the yarn, the amount you get, is all worth the price, even if it’s not on sale, 1020 yards and the yarn is decently soft, and super nice to crochet with, just keep in mind not all the colors are as described. If it weren’t for the color issue I would’ve given it five stars.

Pound of frustration …
I have used this yarn for years. They have changed the yarn and I think they changed where it is made (different manufacturer) I think the quality of the yarn has improved but the problem is if you are like me and like to pull from the inside this yarn now is a ball of knots! I even had 1 skein where when I pulled a huge chunk of yarn came out and was not attached to anything🤦♀️. I also notice that there are small threads from other colors that are mixed into it (see pic below) . Like red thread with the antique white yarn. Impossible to get out. Also the dye lots are way off. The skien I had left over has more of a cream color, the new skien is very white, they were bought about a month apart. I trusted this yarn and noticed all of this when my project was almost done. Totally my bad, Luckily I am not a perfectionist. 😂😂

This yarn had some scary reviews but i’ve worked up an amazing oversized sweater without any issues. I never center pull so I had no issues on that front. My skeins were manufactured in Turkey and were consistent, if a little light for a 4 weight yarn. It is not the softest thing in the world but is miles above simply soft or super saver yarn. It feels much better after a wash and dry.

I love this value yarn. I've made knit and crochet blankets, scarfs and hats and knitted sweaters. It's best to use a large ball winder or ball by hand.
Pros: You get a lot of yards for the money, comes in a variety of colors. Machine wash and dry. 100% acrylic for people that are allergic to wool.
Cons: center pull is hard to find. Can have tangles in the center.

Disappointing
I have purchased before with no problems, this time I bought 6 skeins and so far two of them have had numerous ends/untied pieces. I don't even know where to try to begin one of them. Im never impressed when a skein has been patched together but i can snip out the knot and put in a magic knot, no problem but winding without even trying to make multiple pieces one yarn strand not ok. Inconsistent thickness in the bad skein.

Very Inconsistent!
Purchased to make a baby blanket. Had several knots before 20 rows! The yarn is very inconsistent, thick then thin, then knots, then no twist…. If you check the label the yarn manufactured in Turkey seems to be of a more consistent quality then the skeins I purchased that were manufactured in Egypt. Never ever did I consider that I would run into yarn in the same bin and with the same labels from two different countries!

Not very happy
Went to use this blue ball and pulled out at least eight or nine 12 inch pieces and then two baseball size balls of yarn. I was going to start a baby blanket which I did with a pink ball of this yarn. I was happy with the pink that is why I bought the blue and two white balls of the same. I will not be making the blue blanket as I can not be assured the rest of the yarn will not be in pieces. Don't know if this was returned this way or if it was manufactured this way but I will not be wasting my time with this yarn.

Don’t Center Pull!!
I love this yarn! I bought two skeins of it to make a shawl and for one I tried to do a center pull and for the other one I did not. If you don’t center pull, it is a really nice yarn to work with, but when you try to pull from the center it’s the worst knots ever and I had to cut apart so much yarn. If you don’t center pull, it’s great for the price though.

Knots, and knots and horrible wind
I wanted to love this yarn. I want to buy many colors but I think I have to crash and not buy this yarn.. I tried to center pull and it was like getting the gizards out of a turkey.. I have a tangled mess and Idon't know if I should chuck it or buy another one.. Just did not cake right. I had like 6 little cakes and then it would tangle. :( very upset because I like the color.
