How To Get It
Re-Tweed is a rustic-look tweed yarn that comes in an array of muted natural colors. The nubby texture created by the tweed flecks will add depth to even the most basic stitches and patterns, or show off the tweed in cables or traditional gansey patterns. The CYC 4 (medium) weight makes this yarn perfect for everything from garments to accessories to home décor. And your projects will be machine washable and dryable, making them easy to use every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Amigurumi bears I used the colors Elwood and Peanut Butter for toy animals. The yarn I splits a bit but not bad when crocheted, plus it gets softer with use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from beautiful but no elasticity Made a man's hat and mittens and they looked beautiful. With less than a months wearing they were so distorted in size. I realize that wool has less elasticity however this yarn has no elasticity!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Recycled wool? Recycling is good, but what happens to the wool? I bought a few balls of this yarn, mostly because of its wool content (40%). I used some to knit a swatch (using 3.5-mm needle; with 3.75-mm needles, the knitting felt too loose). As I was knitting, I started wondering: how do you recycle wool? Original wool ('virgin wool' I believe it is called) consists of fibers. To recycle it, does it have to be first turned into some sort of paste? How? The swatch I knit feels like an old rag (the kind you would use to wipe dirt off the floor), even after being washed and dried. I bought enough yarn to make one or two sweaters. I will make them, but will they be as warm as I expected? I doubt it: with 40% wool it should make a very warm sweater, but will it? Or will the acrylic and polyester in the yarn 'have the last word' and will I end-up with a couple of warm T-shirts? My advice: do not buy until the manufacturer explains how wool is 'recycled'.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The skeins were different dye lots! Ordered five of one color. Received three in a plastic bag, all the same lot #, and two odd skeins. The colors are not the same. What a pain! Now I have to take it to the store and return it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Yarn I admit that this yarn feels a little stiff and weird when you first feel it but it simply glides on the hooks! It was super easy to work with and softens as you handle it and after a wash it's great. I love that it is a recycled yarn and would definitely buy it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rough yarn Loved the idea of recycled fiber and purchased Heather Rose to crochet a hat. I purchased online without the opportunity to feel the yarn. The yarn is the roughest feeling yarn I've ever used After crocheting a few rows decided to pull from other end and crochet a swatch to wash and dry to see if that softened it up enough. It did not. I'll be donating this yarn.
