How To Get It
Jacquard's Lumiere Fabric Paint is a light body metallic acrylic paint that's a perfect choice for fabric and leather, but also stunning on surfaces like paper, photos, wood, shrink plastic and even styrofoam. This paint was designed to cover dark backgrounds with light application. On light backgrounds it produces a subtle designer palette alternative to a more intense color scheme. It brushes on smoothly, is water-based, dry cleanable, light fast, and remain soft & flexible when dry. Lumiere Fabric Paint may be painted, stenciled, screen printed, airbrushed (when diluted), and stamped on fabrics, canvas, wood, paper and more. It may also be added to NeOpaque to produce an antique effect.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brilliant shine I used this paint to color my brown boots into red, the color is very saturated and very bright, gives a good coverage, I didn't notice any odor either, I had to do 3 coats of paint because of the harsh salt and gravel mess we have here trying to combat the snow, I did notice a few spots where the paint came off, I was hoping that wouldn't happen, but still not a big deal, I still have a lot more in the bottle for touch ups

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed, comes off in wash I bought a few of these to paint a leather art piece and everything worked out great, but I just recently used it to paint a pattern on a dress that I made. I followed the instructions, they said to let the paint cure for 24 hours and then to heat set the paint with an iron and after that the paint would be ok to go in the washer. I had some dressmakers pencil marks on the dress from constructing it so I decided to wash it in the washer on cold after following the instructions and almost all of my lettering pealed up and came off!! Super disappointed, I was in love with the dress before I washed it and now it looks like I'm going to have to re-do a large majority of the print. Great for leather, not so great for fabric. :c

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Washes great! I bought the sample pack in a store to stamp onto silk scarves. It works best on stamps that have thinner lines with minimal detail but even on a small heart stamp with lots of details it turned out nice. When hand washed it stayed put (I air dried the scarves then put in a warm dryer for 30 min then ironed with a cottome press cloth on cotton for 30-45 secs! I've also used it on some polymer clay that has already been baked!
