Best Starch in the world.
There's one thing that's very important about best press, this starch is perfect in that way which is it doesn't leave a white flaky or chalky residue on the item you're ironing you can't see best press it's perfect stays invisible, great stuff!

A great product.
I work in a situation where I wear a crisp white dress shirt. I tried Mary Ellen's Best Press in lieu of starch in an aerosol can and now use it exclusively.My reasons are:
1. It provides excellent excellent "firmness" and crispness.
2. Unlike with an aerosol, I can adjust the "firmness" of the finish by adding some water to the spray bottle (I typically use 2 parts Best Press, 1 part water for dress shirts).
3. It works well as a means of moistening a stubborn crease so I don't have to keep a seperate spray bottle of water at the ironing board ~ a minor thing but still useful.
4. I like the environmental friendly aspect by not having the metal aerosol cans to dispose of. Also, when I purchase a gallon bottle (which can be recycled) I refill the spray bottles left from when I've purchased those at a Jo-Ann's.

I’ve been using Mary Ann’s Best Press for about 7 years and it’s by far the best fabric treatments on the market! It gives your fabric body without any stiffness.

Best Press IS the BEST!
Ellen's Best Press is the best starch to use when pressing quilt pieces. The purple dries clear. It really helps keep the fabric from stretching while sewing.

Won't use anything else!
I love Mary Ellen's Best Press and use it every time I am sewing quilt blocks. I was first introduced to it at a local quilt shop. She had bottle to try and once I did I was hooked. Personally I prefer the unscented but the scented varieties are very nice too.

Very good product
I really like. BEST Press. Adds a nice body. If you need more, spray again and iron. Really helps stabilize fabric when piecing quilts. I just used it for a baby blanket pieced out of snuggle flannel. Worked beautifully. It was a nightmare trying to sew the blocks accurately without it.
