Bad ExperienceThis was a disappointing experience. Bought the product online for $10.99, received an email the next day that it was out of stock at the store I chose with an invitation to purchase same product, at the same price, with free shipping. And then the only price I could find online at JoAnn’s for the same product was $15.99 after that. Felt like a scam perpetrated by JoAnns.

Mediocre quality, mediocre tip selectionBought these and gave them a try. I immediately had to sharpen the knives I could actually use because factory sharpened isn't actually all that sharp. I used the knife with the cutting edge on the side to carve a toy sword. It did the job, but was not exceptional in any way.
Reading the back packaging, the set is supposed to include 1 flat chisel tip and 3 different sizes of u-shaped gouges. Instead it has 1 gouge and 3 sizes of flat chisel tip. Between that one gouge and the other v-shaped one, it's pretty hard to carve reliefs with any detail. I tried carving a simple flower relief on a pine board. While I was able to get the bulk of the material with the large u-shaped gouge, the set didn't contain the smaller gouges I needed to put in the fine details.
I have yet to find a use for 6 of the 10 total knives.
