Very Pleased With My Rather Silly Project
The 3/8" red, white, and blue grosgrain ribbon that I bought at JoAnn's was prefect for my project. I bought three other items from JoAnn's that I used for the project and was surprised how well each worked and how quickly I was able to complete my project. I bought 7/8" HeatnBond Ultrahold to iron onto the back of the three strands of ribbon to hold them together. I bought white iron on star appliques and ironed one onto the spot where the ribbons crossed. I held the spot where they crossed together with a square of velcro that was sticky on both sides. I was trying to make something for our rubber duck that we float in our hot tub that would be similar to the Texas flag. He has a similar neck piece that he wears in our hot tub at our German Village home that is black, yellow, and red like the German flag.
