Love this folding mat
I have this mat and have used for several years. It fits in my sewing machine trolley. It is great to go to quilting reteats - smaller to transport as it folds in half, but big when you get to the retreat to use it.

Wow, what a great cutting mat, It is even self healing and foldable!
It couldn't get much better than that, the only thing I can think of is

Think It Fits My Needs
I am rating/reviewing before actually using this Olfa folding cutting mat so I gave it 4 stars at this point. Arrived in great shape; I opened it out and was happy to see how the edges fit together. I think it will definitely fit my needs.

Don't travel without it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This folding mat is perfect when you want to take a good sized mat with you, but don't want the awkwardness of trying to carry a full size mat. I fit it in my sewing machine bag and take it with me wherever my sewing machine goes (guild sews, sewing with friends, class, or retreats). The mat is standard OLFA quality and I've never had a problem cutting across the fold. I LOVE this mat! #sweepstakes

Essential if you travel!
This mat fits perfectly in my sewing machine bag. The mat is standard Olfa quality. I have never had an issue when cutting across the fold - it behaves like my full size mat, but stores in half the spa!

Essential for traveling sewists!
I am busy professional tailor. Occasionally I travel to teach or to participate in continuing education workshops and conferences that require me to bring my own equipment. A cutting mat that fits in my suitcase, but then folds out large enough to cut out a bodice is my new favorite! Same OLFA mat quality, folds in half to fit in most carryon luggage, and no gap or bump at the fold. Combined with my lightweight OLFA rotary cutters, traveling for work has become so much easier. lighter, and less awkward.

Olfa Folder Mat is great!
I saw these mats a while back, but I was concerned that cutting across the folded area would affect cutting. Later I saw several people on a quilt cruise with them and they loved them and they let me try them out. No problem when cutting across the folded area.

Perfect Size!
I love this folding cutting mat! I didn't want on that took up too much room, and this was worth the splurge! It's the perfect size for pillows and clothing (I'm short). Would buy it again.

A wonderful travel rotary cutting mat!
I bought my olfa cutting mat last month. Perfect for travel(classes, sit n sew, etc.). And when the mat is open you don't feel the ridge where the mat folds. Very light weight. Lays nicely on top of your rolling sewing case for storage. I highly recommend this for all quilters.

Perfect to take to classes and retreats, and to FL in the winter months! Same Olfa quality as their standard 18 x 24 mats, only folds for travel convenience. Once unfolded, no issues whatsoever with the fold seam and you have the use of a large mat. Love love love it!!! Best part is I purchased it as a clearance item AND used my 20% coupon! What a steal!! Bought 2.

Finally a mat for travel
I have wanted a mat to take when I visit my mom so I can continue with my sewing projects; this is wonderful; the fold is firm and smooth and doesn't show when opened; perfect size too; also good when I need to do some fabric cutting in other places of my home other than my craft area when I have a larger regular mat.
