How To Get It

This rotary cutter can easily cut fabric, paper, leather, vinyl, matboard and foam in any direction. It comes with easy-to-change tungsten steel blades and a heavy-duty setting for extra layers and heavyweight fabrics. Both left- and right-hand users can use it without changing the blade. The heavy-duty setting of this cutter is ideal for extra layers and heavyweight fabrics. Soft-cushion handle reduces wrist strain and cutting fatigue and finger ridges provide a firm grip and reduce slipping. For best results, use the Omnigrid 28 mm rotary blades with this rotary cutter. You can also use it with standard 28 mm blades.

I purchased this because it has a nice safety feature. The blade is not exposed until pressure is applied to cut fabric. However, I found the blade to be rather wobbly and it was somewhat difficult to see where the edge of the blade is positioned at the beginning of the cut. I'll probably use it only for paper.

Sharp and versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a woman of a mature age, using scissors can be quite challenging and uncomfortable. Especially when my hand hurt. Being left handed isn't a factor. As I mentioned, my hands hurt sometimes. This has caused me to drop what I'm holding. I don't have to worry about injuries as the blade retracts. I'm just getting back into sewing and haven't had any issues achieving an even cut, regardless of the heavy weight. Cuts the 1st time. Doesn't require much pressure for the cut, which is ideal.

Handy little tool
This is a handy little tool. I use a big cutter to cut strips of fabric but it isn’t easy cutting smaller pieces. I found it extremely useful trimming quilt blocks for accurate measures.

Works better than expected!
I bought this little cutter just to see if it would be easier to cut leather on a curve. I didn't really expect it to cut the leather as easily as it did. I am able to cut the leather on a curve easier because it has the smaller blade and with one pass it cuts all the way through the leather. Pleasantly surprised.

Please don't buy this.
The safety lock/pressure sensitive guard broke 5 cuts in on first use. And before it broke the pressure required on the light setting caused rippling of the fabric making for distortion and inaccuracies. The concept is good but on this cutter it's dinky and causes more problems than it helps. The blade was good and the stick itself was fine, but the mechanism is unreliable.

Very unsatisfied.
I am only cutting through two layers of fabric, and there are places that are not cut through. The cutter is brand new out of the package, and the blade seems really dull. The nut holding the blade keeps loosening. I had such a hard time cutting out my project. This cutter is very cheaply made. I cannot recommend it.

Sharp and safe
This little rotory cutter works well and has a safty feature i didnt knowot had.
When you go to cut with it, the blade gaurd lifts allowing you to cut. When not on the cutting board, the gaurd remains down.

Not User friendly
I bought this cutter today and I am very disappointed. I didn't realize "pressure sensitive" means the blade guard doesn't retract so you can't see what your cutting. I succeeded in destroying one of my pieces. I'm so unhappy with this cutter I will give this one away and get a different one.
