Perfect for an outdoor curtain
We want to help shield the sun (it's hot in Arkansas in the summer) for our picture window and this just fit the bill. We were very surprised just how much heat this material deflected. I was a bit concerned about trying to sew this heavy material on my machine. But after reading the reviews I thought it might work. I used a heavier thread and a bigger needle and it worked just fine. My handy husband installed a wire on eye hooks and we inserted grommets along the top edge of each 10' piece. Using S-biner hooks, we hung the "curtains" and volia! We take the curtains down when it's extra windy (like when Laura came through) which is easy to do with the S-biners. Love the material - it works well, is sturdy, and we love the print AND it was on sale and I had a coupon. I'd say it was a winner.
