Fabric and notions purchases yesterday.

Will the color last?
The Jewels are nice colors, but some of them appear to be spray painted with color so i wonder how well the color will stay on them or if it will wear off with time.

Beauty is only skin deep
In this case the skin is the spray paint applied to 1/3 to 1/2 of all the gems in the bag. After exposure to water or the elements for any amount of time the paint can be removed just by handling them or rubbed off. Even untouched the paint aquires an ugly milk glass look and the paint starts to flake off on its own. Thank God I only had these in a vase and did not incorporate them into a mosaic of some sort.
