I love this for masks!
I know that people have said they hate this elastic for masks, I actively seek this out for masks because it’s the perfect stretchiness for kids as it doesn’t pull behind the ears. I have been to three different Joannes looking for it because they had it early in the pandemic but haven’t been able to find it as of late. So glad it’s still online! Don’t be fooled by bad reviews, my daughter has to wear it for 6+ hours a day in school and she’s never complained about it pulling on her ears and I wash them every day and the stretchiness is still there!

Terrible spring to this elastic, flimsy quality
I bought many many yards of this to make face masks. It is flimsy and has hardly any stretch. It's really bad cheaply made elastic. I used it on 4 or 5 masks but it's junk so I won't be using it anymore. Disappointed by this purchase.

Wow! I have been searching for this forever, and here is a WHOLE ROLL of this super excellent elastic. Yes, I am making masks!!! Fun AND useful! I ordered it so long ago, but alas that totally fab fabric went astray, I guess I should keep ordering over and over and over !!! Yay, Joanns!!!

This is not the same product as the packaged. It is a little softer, but stretches without returning to its original shape, and is harder to sew than other products - tends to bunch.

What I received was a huge disappointment. Very narrow. So lightweight, it has very little elasticity. Waste of money, but not too much, as I only purchased 5 yds.

Elastic for mask
Love that I was able to find elastic! I bought it to help my granddaughter make mask. I am visiting Waco and did not bring all of my mask making supplies. I have made 800+ mask for a cancer center, a public school and a daycare, all at no cost to them.

Elastic for facemasks
I was disappointed the product did not arrive for 2-3 weeks. The elastic is intended for use on face masks, but is very low quality. If I had known the 1/4" was so thin, I would have selected a larger gauge / thickness.

Very Disappointed
I used this elastic for face masks. Before they were even used, the elastic started tearing. I didn't have time to remake them, as I had hand surgery the next day. I was extremely disappointed.

It was not what I wanted, picture are too small. This was the thinnest elastic I have ever seen. I returned this to the store. I wanted something to sew masks. I have been sewing for over 50 years. materials and products have gone downhill in the years that I've been sewing.
