How To Get It
Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.
Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.
Pellon® 806 Stitch-N-Tear® Stabilizer 20" x 1 yard Package. 806 Stitch-N-Tear® is a tear-away stabilizer backing for all types of decorative stitch-work including embroidery, appliqué, cut-work and monogramming. It is fast and easy-to-use, prevents fabric from puckering, and adds stability to the design area. Stitch-N-Tear® is best for medium to heavyweight fabrics and tears well in all directions.

Perfect for Small/Beginner Projects
When learning embroidery, this is a great product to buy, because it’s not too much, but just enough as you grasp what you’re doing. If it works out, you could go back and buy more by the yard, rather than the pack. Great instructions on the back as well.

Great for strengthening fabric
This interfacing worked perfectly as as tee shirt backing to sew on decorative buttons. Took an inexpensive tee shirt and jazzed it up with cute buttons. The interfacing added extra stability to the shirt preventing the buttons from making a hole in the shirt.
