Pellon foam stabilizer FF77
This foam stabilizer is excellent. I use it for making handbags, baskets, and other items that require a soft but sturdy structure. It is comparable to Bosal without the high price tag.

Great for bag making
I use this for making bags and it is a staple in my craft room. I've gone through many boards of it in the last few years. It sews and quilts well, and really helps a bag hold it's shape and hold itself up.

Thinking outside the box!
I always keep a bolt of Pellon FF-77 on hand. It’s so useful for so many things. This weeks project was a bay window cushion. The 4” one that came with the house was bulky and frankly, ugly. I wanted something that was pretty, useful and easily moved to provide access to a storage area underneath. Voila! This does it all! And I can store the rest of the bolt underneath with the rest of my batting!

Great discovery
I was unsure of this product for tote bags, but decided to try it for a bag I wanted to give as a prize at a Fall Retreat. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of working with this product in a tote bag I have made a number of times. The finished item was very nice and greatly appreciated by the individual who won it at the Retreat.

Perfect!
I bought this as a cheaper alternative to soft and stable for making handbags and such. So far it's been great. Easy to sew through and handle. Not to thick. Love it!

Horrid to work with
I have used this product in two projects. Only one time successfully and even then it was a fight. I hate this stuff. My next project will have 808 and Fusible Fleece in lieu of this Flex Foam.

Love Flex Foam!
I purchased flex foam at Jo-Anns several months ago and just used it in a tote for my featherweight. The foam gives the tote so much body and support. I will be using it more often when I make my handbags.

I love this stuff! I have tried another product made for bags, but while it does the job, I find it to wrinkle easy. This doesn't winkle at all. You can squish it and it just springs right back. It can be a little harder to sew than others because it is thicker than the others. And it can be very economical when on sale but not horribly priced when not. I will use it from now on with all my bag making. This stuff holds its shape really well.

Measure it!
Love flex foam. It did not come in sealed clear plastic. I measured it and got 9 yds and 19 inches. Buy the time you send it back reorder and take a chance of the same thing i just kept what i got.

Really gives the bags structure
This is great for giving the bags more structure. Just wish there was an Iron on version. It would also help for my pattern and to save waste if it was just an inch wider. Glad I got it on sale, or I think it is rather pricey.

Structure that gives
I use this for handbag construction, and it provides excellent structure without stiffness. Bags are easier to turn than with other stabilizers. Also makes a great backing for machine embroidery when you want to add dimension to your designs.
