Perfect for small quilting projects!
I needed batting for a project but didn't want to wait for a store associate to cut it from a bolt. (She was quite busy.) I noticed the Pellon packaged batting was on sale and the crib size was more than perfect with enough to spare for another project down the line.

Great for making a custom ironing board
I purchased this batting to make a custom ironing board. My classic ironing board is about 30 years old and despite the fact it is metal, the surface is no longer completely flat. It was difficult to iron quilt blocks well with a dip in the middle of the ironing board. I looked at purchasing a new ironing board and they were expensive. They also were not big enough to iron my projects. I found online videos about how to make an ironing board out of plywood, quilt batting, and fabric for the top. I used the Cotton Ironing Board Cover 44" Silver yardage that is also available from Joann.com. The result was fantastic! I placed the new large board on top of my old metal one so it is a good height for ironing. I now have a large, level, sturdy surface for ironing.

Pellon Batting Review
I used this as a snow mat for my Christmas Village. It holds together well and with a light dusting of artificial snow, it looks like a real winter village. I especially love how it holds together and doesn't shred or make a mess, unlike other batting I have used for a snow mat. I would recommend this to everyone.
