Is a game in itself sorting the beads I sorted them into cups then transferred to ziplocks and they pretty much fit back in jar for storage Fun hobby for kids once mom learns how to iron them

Fun colors
So many colors to make lots of designs, love the somewhat transparent brightly colored ones. I feel like there is quite a bit of white and black but you will need extra packs of those 2 colors for creating lots of different designs since most require white and black and sometimes it requires a lot of beads in those colors. It does have a big variety of colors, I separated my colors and counted about 30 different colors.

I bought this a little over a month ago because I kept running out of my favorite colors of peeler beads. It has been one of my favorite buys! I just takes ten minutes every once in a while to sort out some more colors. They work great and I plan on buying some more once I finally run out, whenever that may be!

Get what you pay for
I bought this when I first started using Perler. I thought, get plenty of colors and tons of beads for a good price, however what I did not take into account was the time I would spend sorting out the colors if I was doing a specific piece. Its great if you are doing a bunch of little projects with kids or no set color scheme but I would go for the individual bags or the set with the divider case if you are past the fun stage and bordering on obsession!

I bought 5 of these for the library I work at. And then we sorted them all (yes, I'm crazy). There are 30 colors (did I mention I'm crazy?). When you do the math you can see that compared to single color bags this is a great value. (Though one does have to wonder why it costs less for beads that the manufacturer had to take an extra step to mix them all up.)
We also got the clear pegboards so that the kids can put the beads on them directly over the pattern. And if you get this box of beads you should also invest in the nifty little bead sweeper, for the inevitable spills.

So many beads!
Perler beading is so much fun. The only issue I had with a bucket like this was that you had to separate the colors out yourself, but it is a better value than the little 1000 bead packs.
