Floss bobbins
Hold up well after a lot of handling. Only bad side is, stickers won’t stay and sharpie rubs off.

Durability
I wrote a similar review for the pack with the ring, which I recommend getting if you don't have any rings yet. But bottom line is that these plastic ones are much better than the cardboard ones because they last. I have found myself having to rebobbinate floss from the cardboard ones and I haven't even made it halfway through the skein. I buy these for the floss that isn't earmarked for a project already, or for leftoever kit floss. If I'm buying new floss for a specific project I purchase these same bobbins but the product that comes with the ring to keep things better organized. I too tape the floss wrapper to the bobbin, it's been the most relible so far.

Very sturdy bobbins
I bought both these & the cardboard ones. Cardboard are extremely thin & flimsy, these are sturdy & hold up. I'd read reviews about writing #'s on, so I solved the problem, take the number sleeve off the floss, tape it to the bobbin, then wrap the floss on the bobbin. This way you know manufacturer & the number. Only gripe I have, the slot in the end for starting/stopping floss is a little too big & doe not hold floss securely.

These bobbins are great and sturdy! Much better and more durable than the cardboard variety. I use a sharpie to write the number and have had no issues

nice for organizing.
It is true you cant write on them but the sticker you can buy fit nicely, are easy to read, and not too expensive. Some may find it hard to read because the print is small but i love them. the stickers are a different product than the bobbins but when used together are wonderful

need the old style cardboard ones
these plastic ones don't allow you to write the number. I have tried every marker I had, even sharpies and they just rub right off.
