How To Get It
Organize and store all kinds of little beads and baubles in this clear plastic storage box. The hinged lid has a snap-shut latch to keep everything securely inside and there are twenty 1-1/2x1-1/2 inch spaces for small items and one 1-1/2x6-5/8 inch space for longer items. Outer dimensions of the box are 6-1/2x10-1/2x7/8 inches. This package contains one storage box with twenty-one cavities.

Perfect storage for small items
It’s pretty sturdy and locks into place well. I keep all of my charms in this particular case and if you turn it upside down then right side up again the charms actually stay in place, they don’t slide into the other slots

I like these because they are completely transparent. Unfortunately, the latch is fragile and breaks easily so be careful. Despite the latch problem, they are still the best available for the price so I am buying more for my thousands and thousands of beads and findings

storage box
This divided container was a gift for a granddaughter to hold jewelry making "stuff". It was good for this purpose because the snap was secure and tight. The lid would not open easily which was a necessity so that all of the contents stayed in place and nothing would accidently fall to the floor. I only wish the sections were a bit deeper.

Is JoAnn's brand, hildie & jo replacing this item?
In the local JoAnns store I just purchased (7.24.19) 5 (all that there was) of hildie & jo 21 section storage containers 10.3in x 6.7in x 0.9in. Most sections are inside dimensions of almost 1 5/8" x 1 7/16"+. My receipt showed code 848305048293 which is for the item shown here and as you see the description is 1.5" x 1.5". I like the the hildie & jo better because I use them for postage stamps and it has better sized sections. They are also of very clear plastic which I prefer. I hope all future ones are of JoAnn's brand, hildie & jo, and I would like to get more but don't see them on the web site. So, can JoAnn enlighten me as to which will prevail?

Excellent for my ink cubes!

Don't tilt them
A compartment box, in my opinion, should keep things in their compartments with little problem. The ones I store on their hinges do so with almost no risk that my beads and findings will drift from one section into another. The latches to these don't close with a good "snap," but even used with a rubber band to keep the lids on, these boxes have to remain pretty horizontal for such small things to remain where you've placed them.
Also, as others mentioned, the plastic does break pretty easily -- at the hinges and clasps, but within the bodies, as well. I took this down only to 2 stars because I didn't need to toss them; larger things can be stored safely, and the individual units do stack well together. They just aren't great for their intended use.

Another use!
These boxes are shown as "bead storage boxes", however they make perfect storage boxes for earrings and jewelry. They stack beautifully, and since they are clear you can always see what's inside without opening. I have tried several different kind of "jewelry boxes and these work best for me! I am happy :) Just ordered three more!

Great Box
Love these containers. They are great for my specialty beads of animals, nature, etc. Also good for beads I have just of few of. I am a jewelry designer and have over a hundred containers from Joann, always purchased on sale.
These maybe not of the highest quality but they work very well and on sale you
can't beat the price.
I want to thank the managers, Linda and Nicole at the Redding, CA store for always going the extra mile to locate or order containers that are on sale and out of
stock in my store.
The clerks are always very friendly and appreciate my business. This is not the case at the "other" stores.

Great Little Storage Container
I bought this on sale so it was very reasonably priced. It's a nice case as it's clear so it's easy to see what you have stored in it. Also the top fits snugly so no problem about bead migration. I'm going to use it to store sequins and possibly some findings such as lobster clasps, head pins, etc.

I bought one of these last time there was a storage bin sale...I used it for my various bead clasps, hooks, and such...things I no longer have full sets of, but do need to find now and then...after 30years of making jewelry, there are lots of odd bits! I really like the shallow compartments because I can see exactly what is in every bin, without having to dig! I am planning to buy a couple more on this sale. I enjoy being more organized :-)
