How To Get It
Poly-Fil Eatra-Loft batting is a bonded 100% polyester quilt batting with a medium loft that creates more dimension when hand quilting, making it a great choice for beginners. It is light and airy for year-round warmth and comfort and will keep its shape year after year making it a wonderful batting for bed or baby quilts. It has an even give, so it works for hand or machine quilting, as well as whole cloth and tied quilts. It can be doubled to achieve a fluffier comforter look and feel. Poly-Fil Eatra-Loft can also be used as an upholstery wrap to create the full plush cushions we all love.

Great quilt batting for grandson
I put the batting in the quilt I'm making. It was the right size and made the quilt cozy for my grandson. I was able to use a coupon. It's great to have so many coupons to choose from. The other fabric store (other than specialty stores) discontinued their 40% coupon and rarely has sales as good as JoAnns.

Works well where you need extra height in your project.
I am using this to fill in a spot in a quilt that has a lot of looseness - this will make it puffy in that spot and will look great so that I don't have to rip out the area and start over. Very pleased with this product.

Great batting for those smaller projects
This batting is perfect for baby quilts, lap quilts, pre-school naptime quilts, and/or pet quilts. I made each of my granddaughters a quilt using this batting, as well as extra quilts for our dog. It's easy to use, lightweight, and easy/compact to carry and store. The quilts have some puffiness without being overly hot.

Not for baby quilts
I bought this for a baby quilt/tummy time mat but found out from a quilter that it’s too thick to use for that purpose. Evidently because a baby TT mat is washed often this material tends to bunch up between the quilting areas. I had to purchase a cotton batting instead. However, this batting would be perfect for upholstery, reviving decorative pillows and much more.

Batting ‘spray basted’ together for deeper ply
It was perfect. I bought two, and used Spray Baste (from a previous visit, also from JOANN’S) to stick the two batting together.
I made a tied baby quilt for a grandson. It looks soft and fluffy - and it is!
