Premium Clothesline
The Dritz Premium Clothesline was exactly what I needed. Although, I never expected to find it at a Joann store. I used the clothesline to make new handles for my plastic sleds.

Not good quality clothesline
I purchased this clothesline from my local Joanne a month or two ago, and as I untangled the whole thing, saw that it was a ghastly color of gray, full of frays and uneven weaves, and totally not worth the purchase price. Fortunately, I have to cover it with strips of cloth to make a rope bowl so I did use it. But frankly, other clothesline I have purchased is of much better quality and costs three dollars less than this Dritz product.. I don’t recommend this product.

Dritz clothesline
It's an easy rope to sew with. The texture is not always even, but the center core is the best.

Cotton or Cotton/Poly?
I liked the clothesline, and it served for the crafting purpose I was doing. However, I was searching for a cotton with added poly, but I never could ascertain if the product has any poly in it. The package did not indicate that it did, but when I checked my receipt from Joanne's, the description was a cotton/poly clothesline. When I ordered a package online (not from Joanne's), it was also described as a cotton/poly blend, but when it arrived, the package did not indicate that. I'm just a little confused.

Perfect rope for making beautiful rope bowls
This all cotton premium cord is perfect for sewing rope bowls. You can fray the edges as it doesn't have other fillers inside. It has a good diameter size and when using specific fabrics, you can create a stiff bowl that will look nice.

Rope bowl
I’m making a wrapped rope bowl. First try and so far it’s coming out fine. Rope is soft enough for my machine to sew on it and I think it will hold its shape well.

Clothesline rope
Well I know this review will not win me a gift certificate, but it's the truth. The picture shows a nice cream colored cord/rope, what I received is a horrible gray chunky cord/rope thicker than what was pictured. I'm using this cord/rope as an embroidery project and there is no way I would use this. It is all being returned.

Ghetto rope
This rope looks nothing like the picture. Beware. Very soft weave. I will be dyeing this rope later in the summer.

Great quality. Great price.
Great rope for making coiled rope bowls. Better quality than what I have been buying and Joann’s has it for a good price.

Customer service
Placed order, over 24 hours later, had not received call that was ready to pick up. Called store and canceled order and purchased product from a hardware store. Called store specifically to cancel order and as of yet my account has not been credited.

Sometimes inconsistent
I purchased 6 of these to make placemats with (wrapping scrap fabric around the rope and then winding it into a circle and zigzag on machine). Several of the ropes had 6-12 inches of flawed rope and one was actually tied together within the 100 feet. I was able to use the rope for the project, but had to tightly wind my fabric over the flaws and untied the knot and taped it together to wrap that portion. Typically a nice price on this when I use my 50% off coupon.

Just what I need!
I have been buying the Dritz Clothesline for years. The product quality is excellent and consistent and it is just what I need for my fabric bowls. But my store was out of stock so I tried joann.com for the first time. The product was in stock online! It was easy to shop and buy and the delivery was great. So I purchased another batch. Thank you!

Perfect for sewn bowls
This rope is completely sew able and fun to use for bowls, hot pads or rugs. Decorative poly thread with a large zigzag stitch secures the rope in a coil. Wrap with 1 1/2" fabric strips for more color.
