Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wide variety of colors [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried the regular Prismacolor pencils since buying these and they're so soft that the point wears down too fast for me. The Verithin points last way longer. The colors seem to be good for natural/botanical color schemes, no super loud/neon colors. The color isn't the problem . One pencil had a broken lead and I wasted about a third of it. Sometimes sharpening takes out chunks of wood around the point.

You can be very precise and make some beautiful drawings if you have the skills. You can also use them for sketching etc. I like the array of colors in the collection.

It doesn’t matter what kind of paper you are using it is super even. They also don’t seem to wear down as quick as your cheaper pencils. 1 downfall was that I had to sharpen them all, I was not prepared to do that. However it was a simple task once I did have my sharpener. This brand is my new go to.

Incredible for outlining and getting the smallest of details. The lead is hard, the colors are very pigmented and they sharpen so easily to a very fine point.

The colors are bold an pretty. You can create so many styles with these. I would definitely recommend these, they are very sturdy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Color pencils [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils are very nice pencils. I love the beautiful colors. They feel nice in my hands. They are easy to use and very lightweight. These pencils are great for coloring, outlining, detailing, and lettering. I love the packaging the pencils came in. The only thing I didn’t like is they came unsharpened. I felt it took to much time sharpening each pencil and my hands got tired from sharpening the pencils. Overall the pencils are great and good quality. I am glad I got the opportunity to try and review these color pencils through TryItSampling in exchange for my honest opinion.
