Great Cutting Surface!
My mother always had a board like this for cutting patterns, and I am so happy I found one for myself! Makes a great surface for cutting fabric, and is lightweight and easy to fold and store.

Tried and True!!
This is my second Dritz cutting board. I have had my original in New York for 15 years or so and it's the best tool for symmetrical cutting, especially when making curtains. I bought the 2nd one because I'll need it when I go to California to sew and didn't want to bring mine on the plane.

Measurement issues
The measurements are off the further down the board you get because they forgot to compensate for the width of the lines (1/16 inch) used to mark each inch. By the time you get down to the mark for 10 inches, it's really only 9 7/8 inches. The 22 inches is really only 21 3/4 inches and by the time you get down to the last mark, the board measurements are a full half inch off with it really only measuring 67 1/2 inches when it is marked 68".
It's a pain to compensate for the wonky measurements when doing precision cutting but otherwise it's great. It's very convenient to have a large cutting space that can be easily folded and tucked away. Even though the measurements are off, it's still nice to have the lines for right angles. I love card board cutting boards because you can quickly pin the fabric to it to make sure it doesn't shift, although that technique wears the board out... but price it's worth it to periodically recycle and replace it with a new one.

Fritz Superboard cutting board
It is a step up from the old cutting board I had for so many years. Nicely packed in cardboard box, also. So glad since I worried that it might have gotten damaged in transit but it came in perfect condition. Way to go, Joann's!

I sew a lot and don't know what I would do without this board. I can lay it on the bed, or anywhere else and cut out my pattern. I also like to do jig-saw puzzles and is perfect for that, can fold it up without disturbing the puzzle and bring it out again. Also can measure size of puzzle on the board. Have had mine for many, many years and still shows no sign of wear.

DESCRIPTIONS IS TOTALLY MISLEADING
THE DESCRIPTIONS SAYS IS IT 72 LONG (2 YARDS). WELL IT IS 72 INCHES LONG BUT THE MARKINGS ONLY GO UP TO 68 INCHES.
ALSO, AS ON MOST BOARDS, THE NUMBERS START AT ONE AND GO TO 36 INCHES. THEY THAN START OVER AT ONE TO 36 FOR THE SECOND YARD. NOT THIS ONE. STARTS AT ONE AND GOES TO 68 INCHES.
I HAVE BEEN SEWING FOR YEARS AND I NEVER REFER TO A YARD AND A HALF AS BEING 54 INCHES. THIS BOARD IS POORLY DESIGNED FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE.

Superboard is Super!
This is simply a "must" for getting hems even on multiple pieces (such as curtains) that hang side by side.
Also, so light weight it can be easily carried from room
to room. Makes a wonderfu gift for any person who is
serious about sewing.
