Becare of what you are creating as with age, the yarn softens so much that stuffed animals will lose their shape. Sometimes the yarn will separate as you are corcheting it.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from be mindful - they may send 5oz instead of 7oz... I bought 12 of these in 4 different colors. The Heather Gray came at 5oz instead of the advertized 7oz. I tried to exchange in store and they said that THIS was what the article number was - - so apparently the website is giving you 5oz and saying it's 7oz. The store was able to let me return it, but I couldn't get the same color in the full 7oz, and had to purchase a substitute color (to get the 7oz... I'm working from a pattern and need to follow rules like that)... and it ended up charging me more. I was disappointed in the cost, and in the website and mostly in the time it took to make the return/repurchase.

Joann's process was not as easy - although I have ordered in the past with little problems. The 20% off your order if you picked up did not apply (I did not realize it until after I had picked up the items and returned home). One color of yarn resulted in 6 different dye lot numbers - I am hoping the contrast is not drastic.

I threw away the gift card and will go elsewhere . Kinda cheesy that you review the reviews and the truth can’t be shared.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from 12 skeins ordered and none matched Wow! Horrible! In Jan of 2023 I ordered 12 skeins of variegated Woodsy colored yarn to make an afghan for a gift. I am just finishing it and laid it out to see if it was long enough and to my huge disappointment I can see exactly where each new skein of yarn started. Looks like crap! Bright, dark, bright, dark all the way through! And it is bright and dark on both sides so it isn't a nap thing. I can't believe that happened! I ordered them all 12 at the same time and they all came at the same time too, 3 per package. I will never count on Red Heart or JoAnn's to get me a bulk order that matches. Such a disappointment.

The light grey yarn is thicker and rougher than the white. Since the blanket is made up of squares to be assembled together, they must be of the same size. I tried using the same size hook but the light grey squares feel like cardboard and are so hard to crochet as it would require a thicker hook...

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wow… They took my yarn or something, I’ve purchased red hearts yarn for a while now, so I know for a fact this skein of yarn is lighter than usual and you can literally see that the employees or something, tried to tape up the packaging in attempts to make it look perfectly new.

I was told it be shipped that week and still wasnt. I cant get any answers. Needed by Christmas. The store finally had it all in stock but Im not allowed to take my order to store to just buy at price I bought it for. Will never ever shop here again, when I have over hundred dollars in orders, what I get trying a different store. Stick with professionals

I made an online purchase for Black Friday and my order was canceled not even 10 minutes after placing it, and since the pre-authorization charge was still on my bank account, I was unable to place another order. I basically lost my coupon, the discounts they had, eveything!! And the beauty of it is that they didn't even send me an email about it, I noticed it while looking at the order in the app. Oh, and I haven't seen my money drop either, still waiting, when they supposedly said it had been dropped, but my bank says they haven't, incredible. Will not purchase from you anymore, or even recommend you to any family and friends, thanks for anything.

She only used the best threads and Red Heart was on top of her list when making afghans/hats/scarves/shawls. Things like these. It washes nice and drys nice as well. She passed this on to me about using Red Heart. I only use Red Heart. Its the best!

Very neutral with a nice matching fleck to crochet afghans as gifts and will match all decor. But it is on sale and out of stock. When they have a sale they need to stock up on all colors. Now I have to wait until the next sale to buy.
