Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spots everywhere I spent HOURS sewing my dream dress with a beautiful raw silk fabric, only for it to be ruined after dyeing by a product that Rit knows has had serious quality issues for over a year. Their liquid dye is not integrated at all. I had this exact same issue with a different project one year ago. I thought it was my own mistake, so I stripped the color and redyed it four times, only successfully avoiding these hot pink spots (on a light blue dress) when I used dye from a different company. I don't know whether this dress will survive a color strip. I think all of my effort has gone in the trash. DO NOT use this product. Buy an acid dye somewhere else instead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Invisible I would love to review this product, but it was left out of the box. The other colors are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dying cotton canvas Three bottles of Aquamarine, a couple Tbsp of Neon Green and the medium setting on my washing machine and I turned this creamy cotton canvas a much more interesting color

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Shibori dyeing using the classic Indigo I have recently been experimenting with Shibori to enhance my sewing projects. I started to sew new patterns using muslin to make sure they fit so as not to use good fabric. Since the pattern would “work” but be boring in muslin I decided to experiment with the dyeing technique. I enjoyed this so much that I began focusing on developing my skills.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice color selection and even dye results I got this in cocoa brown and it dyed my pink shirt evenly. One bottle can dye around 3 to 4 shirts I believe so it's pretty cost effective. The only hassle about the dye is that you have to wash your dyed clothes separately since the color will bleed in the washing machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even More Colors! Petal Pink, Truly Green, Lemon Yellow, and Emerald are currently on the Rit website for this particular product, but not on Jo-Ann's! Also for this product, Rose Pink, and Yellow are on Jo-Ann's, but not on Rit's. I have all the other colors and am looking for more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well, it works. I used the black dye to darken my faded grayish jeans. I used double the amount of dye and doubled the dying time. And I threw in a piece of white 28 count cross-stitching evenweave fabric so that I didn't have to go out of my way to buy it in black. The jeans had a few small patches of unevenness, but I think that could be because the 5.3 gallon plastic tub I used might have been too small. The cross-stitch fabric came out great. It shrunk slightly because I opted for using boiling hot water. Also, the dye didn't fully penetrate the threads, as you can see along the frayed thread where there are purplish white parts. I don't care about it, but it's something to keep in mind. (That could've been because of the fabric's exceptionally tight weave. Or because I didn't completely wash off all the stiffeners before dyeing. Or both. Or neither, and they dye failed there.) If I did it again, I would look into dyeing using the washing machine, since it was a hassle to get a large amount of hot water and find a non-food container large enough. Also disposing of the used dye in a safe way was difficult.
