The steam is not as powerful, the water does not get hot, and most of the steam is after I pick up the iron. Not sure what all the other reviews are all about, but if I would be able to return, I would. Not worth the expensive price.

This steam iron gives perfect results in a very efficient amount of time. So many uses for it, too. The only thing I don't love is the cord, but I can let that go considering all of the other pluses. This is a great iron that really makes the job easy.

I have tried other steamers hoping to make the process of ironing easier, to no avail. When I received this product I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and the quality of the work that it does. I love the large water well capacity and the sturdiness of the product. It makes ironing easier and quicker.

It seems that no matter how quickly I take my pants out of the dryer, they stay wrinkly. I think it may be the thick fabric and cheap brand. I hate ironing and would rather wear wrinkled jeans than to go through the effort of it. This steamer works well as far as my experience can tell. It doesn’t take the wrinkles completely out of my cheap, thick fabric jeans and work pants but at least it doesn’t look as bad as it did! This combined with taking the pants out of the dryer quickly, helps to make it look like I’ve put some effort into my appearance. The machine is still a little bulkier than I would like but not having experience with any other steamer, I can’t say that it is an unusually large size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Rowenta Steam Pro Iron! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly love the new ROWENTA Compact Steam Pro Iron! I was so intimidated by the big iron, and I though it was going to be complicated to set it up, but it was such an easy setup. I literally unpack it, took 5 minutes to look over the easy instructions, then filled the blue canister with a mixture of 1/2 water and 1/2 distilled water because we have hard water in our area. I simply press the middle "On" button to turn on the machine, and set my settings to cottons with steam, and my iron was ready. This Rowenta iron is so impressive, I literally ironed five blouses and two pants in 20 minutes tops, and what I liked the most is that lots of steam comes out when you press on the iron handle while you are ironing, and stops when you let go on pressing for steam, and that way you don't get any steam when you don't need it. This Rowenta-Compact Steam Pro is worth it!

I was able to do the ironing in half the time and it was so easy and smooth to use. The quality of the Rowenta is amazing with 2x more steam output and a large water tank. My clothing, curtains and tablecloths look incredible. I enjoyed using it so much I was running out of items to iron.

While having my clothing professionally done is still the most efficient way from a time perspective, this steamer absolutely accomplishes very similar results to that of having my clothing done for me. Setting this steamer up is extremely quick and easy. Start to finish, I can go over a week's worth of clothing in less than 25 minutes. Overall, I feel this is a viable alternative to having clothing professionally done. Recommended 4 stars Cheers!

One thing I really like is there are several quick settings to adjust the temperature of the iron for specific materials you intend to iron. Another thing is I really liked the bigger water tank on this iron which allows you to iron more clothes without the need to have to refill in between clothing. Another thing that was cool is that there is a place to safely set your iron down with a lock mechanism to prevent burns to yourself or children. I also felt like this iron glided(if that is a word lol) on the clothing much easier than my previous iron.

It may be little, but it definitely gives the results as a bigger type steam machine. I iron some of our clothes, and this steam pro took out the wrinkles just by going over our clothes once. I love that you can also use it in a vertical way too, I washed my curtains up, and brought my Rowenta Compact Steam Pro out, and used it vertically to get the wrinkles out, it was done in such a short time! Easy to use, and easy to fill the water tank. I highly recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent results but far too bulky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a cheap, upright steamer for a while that was adequate. When I got this product, I was thrilled for the professional-quality results and the size of the machine-- I could plug it in and leave it on top of my front-load washing machine. However, the steamer has a severely deficient design, whether you want to use it vertically or horizontally, like an iron. First, it is way too heavy. My mother was a seamstress and had a professional iron when I was growing up, and this is MUCH heavier. Doing more than one garment hanging on a hanger would be impossible for most folks without a break, and I am a healthy guy in his early 30's. Second, the button is obnoxious to hold down, and difficult to do while using the steamer. It has a hair-trigger and no auto-on or lock mechanism, which I see as a fatal flaw. Having to hold it down with an already unwieldy iron just makes it impractical. I gave this 4-stars because I did get the professional-quality results I was promised. But for design and ease of use, maybe 2? I am going back to my generic old upright.

Then he hangs them, and they somehow get that one wrinkle I just cant get out. I decided to try to steam iron it out... and this thing is MAGIC!!! I tried it on a shirt he didnt hang up, it was a wrinkly nightmare. This steam iron made it look fresh pressed in no time at all! I am so happy to have found it!!

Absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. Very sleek in style and extremely easy to use. It is quick to set up and get ready, it only takes two minutes! It works great and makes everything look amazing with half the time and energy being spent. This works great for delicates as well. I save so much time using my steamer instead of my old iron and it does so much more with so many more features! I would highly recommend checking it out! Great brand, great quality product... I would give it 6 stars if I could !

The main reason is that it not only takes time but sometimes gets very labor intensive also as majority of my husband's shirts have lot of wrinkles and ironing them becomes a frustrating exercise. It's not the case that we do not have a steam iron but somehow, it's lacking something to make our life easy. when we got this Compact steam pro from Rowenta, the first striking feature is that the steaming section is separate and this makes the iron quite light weight in comparison to what we have today. we have used it over the last weekend and I must say that the experience was very much delightful. The ironing time was almost reduced by 40% and we could get the wrinkles removed in first press only. It seemed very professional quality and the unit itself is very compact. I am no technical expert on the workings and specifics behind the performance but being a consumer I am more interested in final product performance rather than any fancy buzzwords. So, I must say that I loved the product very much. would recommend it for the most basic reason that it's making my life easy... PS: I would love to see my irons in some ivory or white color as it makes it look really pretty. Just my view :)

My husband and I ironed our clothes for the week with the Steam Pro and our ironing time was cut in half, HALF! My husband then began to look for other clothes to iron just because he loved using it. The set-up was super easy and for filling the water tank, we used distilled water to prevent any scaling of minerals. With other irons we have used, I always felt like it took forever to get wrinkles out. The Steam Pro knocked them flat in no time and we didn't even have to go back over the wrinkles a second time. I really think the wattage and amount of steam it provides, plus the big water tank are the real game changers here. The iron itself was lightweight and was easy to maneuver. I highly recommend the Compact Steam Pro for a better ironing experience!!

I have to iron all of my husbands work clothes each week and it was always a dreaded task. I used this and it was such a blessing. I like that the iron locks onto the base so that it makes it easier to transport but I wish it could lock in place onto the iron, not just slide up. I have a small one so I could make sure she couldn't get it off. Having one iron that will allow you to steam and iron is so wonderful. The cord going from the iron to the base is heavy duty. What I love most about it is where the position of the steamer button is. It is on the underside of the handle so it makes it really easy to transition from ironing to steaming. It is small enough that it is easy to travel with and very compact.
