The concept is great but the product is poor, basically your painting chips of metal on your wall. and when you paint over it, the product becomes LESS magnetic. I had to use the entire can of paint. Even though I ventilated my house the oil based fumes entered through my vents and caused my dryer to vent out the kerosene fumes. You will not be able to wash this down the sink, nor should you. The quality of the product does not produce the quality of magnetism needed to support pictures and paper or note paper without extra magnets.&nbsp;</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-07-22</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2015-07-22" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="24387062"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Rust-Oleum Magnetic Primer Qt 30oz" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">katie</span> from <span itemprop="name">magnetic paint</span> <span itemprop="description">We followed all the directions and used chalkboard paint on top of the magnetic paint and our magnets will not stick.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2014-04-22</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2014-04-22" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="37848906"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Rust-Oleum Magnetic Primer Qt 30oz" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Kimberly</span> from <span itemprop="name">Doesn't work</span> <span itemprop="description">Followed the directions, and our magnets will not stick.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2014-10-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2014-10-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="110778846"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Rust-Oleum Magnetic Primer Qt 30oz" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Artmom</span> from <span itemprop="name">Wouldn't waste my money again</span> <span itemprop="description">Wouldn't even hold simple magnets. I read up on this product and all of the discussions were you would have to use multiple coats. I did two 4'x4' areas using 8 coats with a small roller. Yes the oder is strong and ventilation is preferred as you work with the paint. If you are going to put a top coat of paint on the area I would strongly encourage more coats, probably 2 to one as the top coat is thicker. There are comments of the magnets not sticky. I had to get different magnets but the ones I have found best are Magnet Rare Earth Neodymium Permanent Magnets. This are strong and small. Using the ceramic or flexible cylinder will not work well. I am pleased with the product and would have given a 5 if the oder had not been as strong.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2016-08-26</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2016-08-26" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2019, m_10, d_13, h_5</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_2.0.13</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_5</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_13031638, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_joann</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 77ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
