Fantastic thread!

Pricey but nice!
I tried Gutermann serger thread for the first time this week. It was a splurge, but my local JoAnn's had it on sale. What a great thread! My serger is an older model, and somewhat tempermental, and it had no problem whatsoever with this thread. The stitches were even and the machine had no tension problems. I just wish it came on a larger spool, because a large serger project has already used half a cone of thread for each looper.

for rolled edges it's the best
There is no comparing the quality and look of a finished product when done with Gutterman's serger thread. I was working with a less expensive thread making rolled edges on napkins. The results weren't what I'd hope for, so I decided to splurge and bought the Gutterman's. What a good choice!
My only complaint is the price. By the yard, it is nearly eight times the price of it's nearest competitor! But if you want something beautiful, there is no other real choice.
