Not a Ponte
This feels more like a tricot. Shiny, thin, zero vertical stretch. Somebody messed up, I think. Does Joann read these reviews?

Horrible and cheap
First off, this is not ponte. It’s super thin and shiny polyester and just horrible all around. I used it to make a toile of a pants pattern. My machine also hates this fabric and kept skipping stitches even after putting on a fresh needle and rethreading. I will never buy this again.

Terrible knit fabric
This is NOT a Ponte knit, and it is not classic royal blue. I absolutely cannot use this at all; it is shiny and very cheap looking.

Awful cheap fabric
I bought this fabric to make the moto pants from DIBY club. It’s nothing like I expected. It’s super thin, somewhat transparent, has a very plastic feel to it, and my machine hates it. Worst of all, it doesn’t hold a crease at all so it’s been extremely difficult trying to make these pants and iron the seam allowances. Definitely do not recommend for pants.

Do not buy this if you want real Ponte De Roma knit fabric
I had in my stash a beautiful heavy pink ponte de roma fabric that I bought at Joanns about 3 years ago. I made a pair of pants from it and they are so nice.
This purple fabric is not that kind of ponte de roma. I just opened it in preparation for making another pair of pants, and this is a 2-way (not 4-way) stretch, think, and SHINY knit fabric. I think it is mislabeled as ponte. Don't know what I'm going to do with it, but not making a pair of shiny pants with it.

Very thin
I just bought this fabric online and was surprised by how lightweight and see through it is. I agree with other reviewers that it’s not a high quality looking fabric.
