Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for caps for cancer I have used this fabric for making cancer caps for seven years. The various colors vary in their density and stretch, which is no problem for me. Before washing I sew the salvages together. I wash it hot water followed by a hot dryer. This shrinks the fabric allowing it to be washed and dryed with ease.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Arrived with a flaw My piece arrived with a flaw running across the fabric, a heavy slub about 12 inches long. I was able to cut around it. I'm glad this was going into a test piece because it lacks body and has zero recovery. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this quality about a 4. I always wash fabric first thing and this came out looking finely pilled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft breathable with just enough stretch fabric I make pet attire and this is a perfect fabric with the right value for my products. My only problem with the fabric is, I'll advertise the different colors, and my local store either will not have it, has discontinued it, they are out of stock and my all time favorite it shows to be in stock but no one can find any of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I am making gymnastic clothes for my 4 year old granddaughter as the products available at stores and online are not the type of clothes she wants to wear. It is a work in progress and I think I’m going to contact Joann fabrics store for some sewing lessons.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Junk Disregard any reviews older than this. I have used this fabric (SKU) for years... and very recently they changed it. It used to be soft and stretchy, like a thick t-shirt. Now, it's rough and has maybe 20% stretch, which is virtually none. If knit doesn't stretch, what's the point? I'm glad I didn't order more than 2 bolts of this at first because it is absolute trash to me. So very disappointing that Joann can't stay consistent even in their basics. Ridiculous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fabric! Love this fabric for dresses, pants, tops. Washes and drys well also!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loose knit but suitable for tees etc I think the descriptions could use more detail. This is a loose knit so it stretches/expands a little as you work with it. I had to take a duster apart and cut it down a size or so as a result. There is no recovery to the stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Material, Nicer Customer Service I bought this material to make a T-Shirt for my fashion class. It's very soft and comfortable to wear. It made a lovely T-Shirt and I would absolutely buy more material in different colors to make more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Fabric I have used this fabric to make skirts and dresses. They have all turned out great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, inexpensive fabric! I bought this to make a plushie instead of using a sock, and I'm really glad I discovered it. It is soft, the right spot between sturdy and stretchy, and takes dye easily (just make sure to use a dye formulated for synthetic fabrics!) I highly recommend it for "sock" plushies- just sew it into a tube and alter the pattern as necessary. It gives you a lot more control over size and proportions when you use your own fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and Easy to Sew I bought some of this as a remnant to test out how it would stretch and hang and then liked it so much I got more for a maxi skirt. Easy to sew (with a ball point needle of course) and doesn't stretch out or shrink in the wash. I wish it were a little less expensive, but with a sale, it's an all right price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels Amazing! I bought the gray to make a t-shirt dress for my 7 year old granddaughter. I did reinforce the shoulders with bias tape because the fabric is very stretchy. She put the dress on and said it felt "amazing". Definitely 2 thumbs up if you are using this for a fabric sensitive 1st grader. It washes wonderfully. Came out of the dryer with no creases or wrinkles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice material, poor online pictures I recently bought some of this material as I have used it in the past and it worked great. I bought it on sale online only for it to look nothing like the color that was shown on the computer. I knew the risk when I bought it and accept that. It’s just unfortunate that I now have to spend the money I saved on material on fabric dye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fabric with beautiful color I bought this to make a dress, and I love it. The colors are deep and it is soft and comfortable to wear. It is rather difficult to sew with a machine, but hand sewing is easy. I will definitely buy this again in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Well It's soft, easy to work with, and so far is holding up to my rough 3-year-old. Hasn't stained but there is some slight fuzzing after several washes and some rough wear. With a coupon, it's a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this knit fabric!! Lots of colors, VERY easy to sew, for a knit! It's an interlock, so it doesn't roll, but it is pretty stretchy. A DREAM on the serger, but sews beautifully on the machine too! The 60/40 cotton poly is just right for t-shirts, casual dresses, tops. Thick enough I don't need underlining, but lightweight, fast drying, cool enough on hot days. I just throw it in the washer, and dry on a low setting, and it does just fine. It washes beautifully no/little ironing necessary. As for the pilling that some have complained about: one side is a little (just barely) fuzzy and the other side is a clean knit. I sew with the fuzzy side on the inside, and I haven't had a problem with pilling, at all. More colors, please! And try harder to keep the colors in stock! is my only complaint.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great garment! I bought some of this and made a garment which I am now enjoying and was planning to buy some more fabric and make another. But then I heard from so many that it pills! I hate pilling! This fabric is way to expensive to end up with pills all over it! So I do not plan on buying more. What happened to the good knits with children's prints that Joann used to sell?? Not what I wanted but I was willing to compromise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from pills within 3 wearings, looks terrible. trash. I wanted all cotton, but none in the store, so I bought cotton poly blend. Complete waste of all my shopping and sewing time- pilled immediately where I touch computer table in front, and bottom of chairs. Two days in office, and one doing errands, in and out of the car, for each outfit. Dress, and skirt and blouse, a mess of pills, band on front, lower backside from moving on chair seat. Not ever presentable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality I buy this fabric constantly and love it. It sees up nice and has a perfect thickness to it. Just wish it came in more colors

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Navy Knit Fabric This fabric is good quality. I got navy, it is not as dark as the website color swatch indicated. I still use it is not a problem for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very forgiving I've bought this fabric in a few colors and I love them all! It's very easy to work with, hold shape and yet is very forgiving in stretch!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great for some! I purchased this fabric to make underwear for myself and my husband. It worked well for me although it pilled and so didn't look nice for a long time. However, it did hold up much longer than the elastic I used. For my husband, the fabric was too thick and not quite stretchy enough for the pattern I used. A lighter weight, stretchier fabric would be nicer for him.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I bought this fabric recently. I was sewing a yellow skirt. The skirt ca, out wonderful. It was my first time working with a knit fabric, so I wasn't use to all of the sliding around. I got it on sale for a great price. It pills a little when it's stretched too much, so be careful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't get enough Ts I can't count the number of baseball Ts I've made for my male relatives and for myself. This fabric is perfect for my uses and as you can see, it embroiders very well. (My sweet chow-chow wanted to be in the picture with his daddy.) The sleeves are shortened because that's his preference and he likes the shirts a bit longer than most. Great product and I always get it on sale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My fabric was cut into two pieces Last month I purchased knit fabric in 4 yards pieces. When I opened up my fabric to check it out to my disappointment the fabric was cut into two pieces. I got the yardage but I didn't want it cut in half. This happened on two orders. I kept the fabric and was able to make it work but Iam afraid to order fabric now. Should I request that my fabric not be cut?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect fabric for the perfect outfit. I bought this fabric because I like the way it drapes. It feels wonderful. I am going to purchase all the colors except yellow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adore this fabric! Could live in this. This was my first foray into knits after 50+ years of working solely with wovens. Sews up beautifully. Excellent medium weight for all the tanks I've made (in several of the colors), a maxi dress, swoonpattern cardis and have also used remnants in combination with other knits. I've only hand-washed my pieces and do get some pilling but just in 'friction' areas (like underarm). It quickly 'ages' so it feels like your fave old soft and cozy tee. :) Will definitely purchase more (on sale).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Like others said, it pills! Imagine how upset I was when as a new sewist my first knit garment that I worked so hard on came out beautiful and then pilled after the second washing! So disappointing. I did prewash and that was OK. The color was a very dark green. I also bought the biking red but really don't think I'll waste my time with it. I've heard it's best to stick with 100% cotton knits at Joann's (of which they barely have any!)
