Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but a shade lighter The fabric just arrived, it is a couple shades lighter than the listed picture. I purchased the Azure Blue and was hoping for a darker "vintage blue" look but in person it's a lighter colored vintage blue. Not quite baby blue, but that's the color I thought of when I opened the package. Either way it's going to be used for a beautiful walking skirt and jacket ensemble. It feels like a nice durable quality but I believe if you purchased a light color in this same fabric it might be a bit see-through. This is definitely not a thick fabric and the Azure Blue I purchased will definitely need a liner to add thickness and a barrier since other dark colored garments will be worn behind this. Also, the picture I attached seems a bit more washed out than it really is. The blue is more vibrant in person- make of my listed pictures what you will, they don't do the fabric justice. It's probably best just to continue to shop in person to get the exact color you prefer, unless you are making a repeat purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THEY cancelled order with no notice!? I’m a quilter who ordered from Joanne’s ALL the time. I placed a significant order and they cancelled it with no notice to me. I used a new payment method so maybe that was why? I get TONS of promo emails but no notification about billing issues? Or did they just not want to honor Presidents Day sales prices?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color waaaay off from picture I bought the color scarlet. And in the picture it looks more natural toned slightly darker red. What I got was bright red. Super disappointed because it took forever to ship and receive. First pic is the color I received.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong color It’s not the same shade of grey that I ordered. It’s a nice grey color but it’s a lot lighter than what I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quilt fabric This fabric is excellent for quilts and any cotton garment. The color is true to picture. Lovely lovely fabric.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not the right color Definitely not the right color. I ordered the Harvest Pumpkin color and what arrived was bright orange. I'll be able to use it for another project I'm sure but it doesn't fit with the project I ordered it for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from seems thin for crafting Bought to use as sashing and binding for a child's quilt. It will serve, but is thin a slippery to cut. glad I ordered an extra yard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ordering on line Very very poor service. Ordered fabric and been week never received any updates. Never order again from them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No customer service phone number Tried to cancel this store pickup through customer service. However, an email was the only option. No response back, and the order is ready for pick up. A fabric I don't want or need

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as Advertised I don’t mind the quality of fabric. It’s inexpensive, but it works for small projects. My issue is that the pictures do not match the color you receive. I shouldn’t have ordered online. I actually prefer to shop in-store. But of course, there’s the online only deals that sometimes feel too good to pass up. I should’ve made the drive, and spent a little extra to get the color I thought I was ordering.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality I hate ordering online never know what you will receive. Order yellow, black and white 2 yards of each. All are thin and cheap. Horrible to sew with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible quality I hate buying on line. Not being able to see the actual material. This fabric is so thin. I would have never purchased this if I was in the store. The quality is so bad that it is hard to sew with. It has ruined the quilt blocks I am making.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color Completely Different I would avoid JOANN in the future as the color depicted is ridiculously different.. not just a little. It is a bright blue-turquoise (not a teal) not this darker shade, which is a teal. Money out the window. The pic enclosed is NOT with a flash, just natural light.. Obviously accurate color is central to a material seller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fabric, but color is possibly wrong? The fabric itself is good. I'm making doll clothes and needed thin fabric that didn't bunch up too much at a small scale. However, I ordered azure blue, and the color that arrived looked much more like a bold sky blue rather than the muted navy blue used in the picture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not recommend ordering online Ordered two bolts worth of fabric. So far, 6 cuts have shipped, ranging in length from 1 to 3 yards with one 6 yard cut. The single yard cuts will not be usable for my project. They should inform you when placing an order whether bolts are available for purchase. Looking through reviews, now I'm concerned about whether all the cuts will even be the same color. I'll update when it all arrives over the next several weeks but can definitely already say I won't be a returning customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total eclipse is NOT black I bought this fabric thinking it was black- to make my grandson an Abe Lincoln costume. Washed it to preshrink, and started ironing before cutting the pattern out. It's NOT black, it's dark blue, and totally unusable for my project. I may buy some black dye and try to salvage it, but I am not happy with this material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap but good Good value for money, however, there is a difference in appearance between higher quality fabric. Thats to be expected, however, I wish it wasn't a little sheer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeping children happy I bought the clear balls and let the grandkids make their own designs by choosing from an assortment of stickers, beads, snow and glitter. They loved them and now one is doing same activity in her classroom! 😊

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought 3 yards of coordinating fabric and 2 additional yards for the binding and back for a 3 yard bundle quilt pattern with the wonderful help of the staff at the colonial heights store. Turned out great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color runs do not buy I bought this to make a headband and bandana. I handsewed the Phillies P onto it. Then my daughter got caught in the rain and the red totally ran into the P and my white tag. I had prewashed the fabric before making. I’ve also made Holiday wine bags with the red which took me a long time….they are now all useless. Attached are photos of the headband which was rained on and the bandana which shows what the P used to look like before it got wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the cotton quilting material I’ve just started sawing. My first project have been grocery bags. I hope showing in the future is just as easy and fun as making the bags. Any help would make this experience helpful I don’t know if I can get feed back our what but it would be well appreciated thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrived with holes I received this fabric today and it came with two free holes. While I enjoy a freebie here and there, I don't enjoy those that inconvenience me. Luckily I bought an extra yard, so it won't mess up the project I'm completing too much, I'll just have to improvise the lining. Quality checks should be done and followed, there's no way the employee didn't realize this when it was obvious once I opened the package.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Wrinkly Mess I recently purchased 5 yards in white to make a custom table cloth. I prewashed it as normal, tumble dry. It is so wrinkly now and I don't think it will ever press out flat. Even when you iron it half to death, the wrinkles are still visible, and as soon as you fold the fabric, boom, more wrinkles. I've tried using Best Press (ironing spray sold at JoAnn's) and it's not helping. The fabric is perfect for what I needed, except for the stupid wrinkles. Lesson learned, I suppose; I should have looked for a cotton/poly blend. I answered "yes" to the "would you recommend this product to a friend?" question because it would depend upon what the intended use was. For some purposes, this fabric would be great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fabric Color was a few shades off got the purple fabric recently, however despite the images showing a darker color it was a shades lighter. other than that the fabric seems decent in quality (although i am an armature so take my opinion with a grain of salt)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap But Does The Job This fabric is cheap, but it does the job. It works well as a thin shirt fabric and I've used it to line a waistcoat before too. It's thin and not the highest quality, but good for my budget.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The color The color is way off!!! I ordered dark royal blue, it is easily 5 shades lighter. 36 yards and I can't use it! What I got on the left and what I ordered on the right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid fabric cotton This fabric is great for making shorts, tops, skorts. My family loves the light weight of the fabric. The colors are great but you have to see them instore first. I have use 13 of the colors. Would like to get all the other colors soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fabric tears easily I purchased this fabric to make lap quilts for a local nursing home. I made a beautiful quilt. Washed it prior to giving it away. Found many seams ripped and fabric fraying. Repaired seams by hand. Rehashed. Only to find more seams ripped and frayed. Repaired and washed again. More seams ripped and frayed. Quilt is trash. A lot of wasted money and time. Will never buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too thin & stiff for quilting Just received this Sew Classic fabric and am very displeased. Even after pre-washing and drying, fabric is stiff and scratchy and semi-transparent. It is too thin and stiff for quilting, for which it was advertised and the reason for my purchase. I can easily see print through the fabric. Actually, reminds me of crinoline -- I machine washed and dried the fabric prior to writing this review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the color I was expecting I bought the viridian green and it is not at all as dark as it looks in the picture nor as green. It is more of a teal but it is still a beautiful, rich color that I still adore. I am working on a skirt to go over a big hoop that I have and I was planning on pairing an orange with but I'm glad that I held off buying it to see how this piece came in. I have instead picked soil brown to pair with and the warmth of the brown complements the "viridian" well.
