Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fabric! I bought this fabric to make a Harry Potter robe (using Simplicity 8723) after seeing the review about it working well for a Jedi robe - I completely agree! This fabric doesn't look costume-y at all and I love how the robe turned out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks like linen. Feels like linen. Great to work with. Made the cutest white cafe curtains for my bathroom. Now I have stylish privacy with lots of light. Have more projects in mind getting the look of linen, without the hefty price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silky texture linen blend Love this textured linen blend fabric. Perfect for apparel and home dec. Wish it came in more colors though. Has a very soft & drape-y hand when washed and gets softer the more you wash it. Allow for shrinkage when purchasing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The product is amazing but... Second time buying this online to make long curtains but it comes cut in 2 small pieces. First time it was missing 3 yards it was a headache to returned it at the store to proof it wasnt my fault... and the fabric had some stains... now I have to returned again because they send me in 2 shorter pieces smaller than my windows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The look of linen without the problems I make a lot of costumes and the hopsack linen is great for pants. It is a blend so it doesn't have the problems of 100% linen. Plenty of colors to choose from. The weight is good and it washes up well. Buy it on sale always!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice linen for window treatments! I purchased Sew Classic in white to make window treatments--lined stagecoach shades for French doors. They turned out beautiful! Color is pure white with no color undertone, texture is stable and a good medium weight. Slub is visible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good color, excellent drape Purchased this fabric to make a Jedi Master Robe (like Obi-Wan Kinobi). This fabric has excellent drape after prewashing, a lovely chocolate brown color, and it sews up nicely. Although it was slightly frustrating to be limited to 8yards per bolt, I was able to order 10 yards that came 8+2, which was fortunately usable with my pattern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the weight and hand For a blend, this fabric is fantastic. It's a medium-weight linen-look fabric that's a blend of linen and rayon. It washes up and softens a bit, and some time in the dryer left it without a ton of wrinkles, but as the other reviewers said, this will fill up your lint-trap the same as other low to moderately priced linens. I think it has something to do with fiber length. However, this particular fabric in brown is easy to machine sew, opaque, and just the right weight. I made this fabric into an ankle-length Norse-style apron dress and wore it all day over a 100% linen shift. It was hot summer, and I was perfectly comfortable. The weight of the fabric lends a nice 'swishyness' to a skirt. I will be finding an excuse to purchase more of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I needed! This fabric is exactly what I needed! It drapes beautifully for a cloak and the texture is wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect material for the project! I had a very specific project to complete - a jedi robe - and went first to the Joann store. Unfortunately, I needed a LOT of the material (10 yards) and they didn't have enough in stock, so they sent me to the website. I ordered the exact material - a beautiful chocolate linen - online and it was delivered in perfect shape and in a super timely manner. I'm so happy! (The linen for the tunic and obi material was also purchased from Joann's)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from nice quality fabric, just unusable It was really nice linen fabric. I just had a problem with how it was cut. This would only be a problem to people who were trying to purchase fabric to make something with a pattern. Those of you who just like to purchase fabric to store in a closet wouldn't probably mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Texture! I bought this product last week to upholster a storage bench and it works great. The texture was exactly what I needed and it seems to be pretty durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good texture! But difficult to dry in a dryer. I just bought this fabric a few days ago & I really love the texture, which will be perfect for the viking costume I am making for Halloween. I do however, agree with the other review that this fabric leaves a TON of lint in the dryer. Within 5 minutes, my lint screen was full, & I had to clean the screen every 5 minutes after that, just to make sure it didn't start a fire. Will probably just hang this up to dry in the future.
