Favorite fleece to sew
I've made multiple scarves, pants, cloaks and ponchos from this Sew Lush line. Yes it sheds when cut, but you won't find softer fleece. Everything else just pills and feels slightly scratchy compared to this. There isn't a lot of stretch. Make sure you cut your garment accordingly. As for shifting on the machine, a walking foot helps. As does a slightly longer Stitch length.
I only wish they had more colors and prints in stock. I would dearly love the heliotrope purple but apparently they don't make it anymore.

Messy to Use
While this is a very soft fabric and felt perfect for my project, I was covered in shedded bits and fibers by the time I'd finished cutting out my blanket. It was literally everywhere - on me, all over my sewing table, on the floor... What a mess! And I hadn't even begun sewing yet! Clean up took quite a while - I'll use a different fleece in the future.

Luxurious feel but a little challenging
Bought this for scarves and bought a plaid for a coat. While this is called a fleece it is more like a minky, soft pile like fur and a nap. It makes a mess when cutting, is slippery when piecing together and sewing, use extra pins. With that in mind, if you're looking to make no sew blankets look else where as this style of fleece isn't made for it.. If you are looking to make ultra soft and luxurious blankets, scarves, hats, etc go for it!

Holy Shed-storm, Batman!
I bought two different colors of this for a costume for my five year old. It's soft, warm, and furry looking without being actual faux fur. As other reviewers have stated, it sheds like you would not believe (my kiddo likes to take the cut pieces and shake them to make "snow storms"), and the nap makes it slip around like crazy on the machine. But I sure can't fault the results - beautiful, with just the right amount of sheen, and super cozy.

So Soft
I loved this fabric. It did shed a little but not to bad. It is so soft and yummy. i used it for a backing on a quilt and it looks beautiful. i did have to rip out a seam and it is near to impossible! So be careful and get it right the first time.

So Very Soft
I made 8 Blankets as Christmas gifts one side with the Sew Lush Fleece and the other side was Luxe. They came out really nice and I don’t even know how to sew. They all were so happy to have a personal blanket made especially for them.

Massive Shedding
I bought this to make a fur trimmed winter hat. I was distraught by the amount of shedding from this fabric. I had to keep a vacuum cleaner on my cutting table to vacuum the fallen bits constantly. I like the softness but will never buy this again. I will probably toss most of the 1yd purchase.

Some tips for sewing with this amazing fabric
Bought Sew Lush unicorn print to back with Soft & Minky for a little girl's blanket. Was tricky to work with at first and it does shed quite a bit when you cut it so have the vacuum handy. This fabric is not recommended for no-sew projects, it will come apart. It slips a bit like satin when you sew it, best not to be in a hurry. I released the presser foot tension to 2 and set the longest stitch length on my vintage Singer Rocketeer. It took both hands adjusting to keep it in line as I stitched the long edges but the project came out great. I also used strips of light tracing paper to back it as I sewed the seams and that helped keep the fabric under the foot. Top stitching 1" in on the Minky side went very smoothly without any backing. With the leftover Sew Lush I made a tube scarf and I literally have not taken it off since I made it. So luxurious and cozy! Basting the long edges together for the scarf (no paper backing) was a big help and worked better than just pins or clips.

Super soft and learned a lot!
Bought this to make a lounge robe for the winter. I’m still a novice in sewing so working with a new fabric is always a little nerve wracking.
Took the advice from other reviews and pinned the heck out of it and didn’t have much difficulty!
Also it does shed a whole bunch. When I cut I shook out the pieces and then vacuumed right away to try to minimize the mess.
End project: absolutely love it. It’s so soft and warm!! Perfect for winter!

Super soft
I love this material. It’s so soft. But beware this fabric shreds a lot once you cut it. I do mean a lot. But don’t let that scare you away. Also be sure you pin it a lot along the edges and use a walking foot. If not, your setting yourself up for a disaster.

I LOVE this fabric. So soft and fuzzy, and the colors are beautiful! My sewing machine can easily handle its fuzziness too. Love it.

Great feel & warmth
I made a night gown from this. It is comfortable because it is not restrictive. It warm and very soft plus it is not heavy. I simply wash and dry then. My gown is 2 years old and the same as when I made it. Looking to make unlined jacket and a top for winter.

Soft, but colors are off
Just received my shipment of this fabric. Very high quality and very soft. One thing to note, however, is that two of the three colors I received were pretty different from the colors shown online. If your project needs very specific colors, I'd suggest going in person, as the website color photos are not very accurate.

hard to work with but beautiful
I make double-sided sewn baby blankets and find this fabric very hard to work with - it stretches and slips and slides while you are sewing. I use a LOT of pins and still it's hard to manage and keep the edges aligned. When you're cutting, the entire room gets covered with loose fluffy fiber. BUT when you are done, it is gorgeous! So soft that you won't believe it. I keep buying this fabric despite the hassle of working with it because it is so beautiful and soft. But each time I'm working with it I say I'll never buy it again! :-)

Problems with orders during covid 19.
If was beautiful and very soft but it was a problem to put it on the back of a quilt. It slid all over the place trying to quilt it. It was an online purchase along with the black material. The black material I ordered looked solid black but had green strips in it, so I couldn’t use it. It was easy to order and pick up, they were very nice.

Beautiful BUT....
I ordered 2 colors of this fabric. It is Beautiful and soft beyond belief. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to it even after a double wash. I had used it as the backing for a quilt for a friend and she did not have a problem but I had to sorrowfully give away the fabric for my own quilt backing.
