How To Get It
Transfer designs directly onto fabrics using the Dritz Sew 101 Marking Pencils - Light Blue & White. These water-soluble pencils have distinct colors that are easily visible on a variety of fabrics. They are designed with a specially formulated lead that delivers clear markings. You can erase the markings by using a damp cloth. This pack includes two pencils that are great for quilting, sewing or crafting projects.

Just what I needed for a sewing class
The great thing about these markers is that you have a choice of dark or light marking. The white showed up well on navy fabric.

Marking pencil- a bit off the mark
The marking pencils are a good value for the pair, but in my first use of one, I found the marking to be fainter than I had hoped. Maybe with more use on differing varieties of material I'll feel better about them.

Marking pencil works well
I was shortening a multi-layer prom dress for my granddaughter. This pencil worked much better than the chalk I had for this project because the line is much more precise.

Fabric Marking Pencil

HAPPY WITH MY MARKING PENCILS

Preferred over tailor's chalk
I've always felt more in control of my pattern markings when using these pencils as opposed to tailoring chalk. My lines are more distinct, and I feel as if the marks stay in place longer.

Seriously – don't get this.
If you're reading this, I implore you to purchase a different marking tool. I've tried this product on multiple types of fabric and it won't show up. The blue barely even shows up on paper. Please don't spend your money on this.

I bought these pencils as my first fabric markers and was extremely disappointed when they did not show up on ANY fabric I tried them on. I ended up just using silver sharpie markers until I was able to get fabric chalk that actually showed up on my fabrics
