The SINGER 4-inch Mini Detail Craft Scissors are high-quality craft scissors designed for any precision cutting project from embroidery and applique work to scrapbooking and crafting. The professional grade precision blades on both of these scissors are made from durable stainless steel for long-lasting sharpness and are resistant against rust, nicks, and scratches. The comfort grip handles are designed to be comfortably used by both right- and left-handed users, and they feature added ribs for a more secure grip. The handles are made from strong yet lightweight thermoplastic rubber (TPR). The tongue-in-cheek messages printed on the handles – “Fabric ONLY” on the shears and “Snip” on the craft scissors – help those household members who are not tailors or seamstresses to avoid mistaking one for the other.

So dull they wouldn't cut butter
I bought these scissors at my local Joann's a couple of weeks ago, took them out of the packaging and tried to cut a single thread. These so-called scissors were so dull, they wouldn't cut a single strand. When they finally got through the thread, it was frayed. These are horrible! You shouldn't have to buy scissors and have to have them sharpened immediately.

Works well, a little hard to open/close
I mostly really like these scissors; the size, the smooth tips, very sharp and works perfectly for the application I bought it for, cutting fabric tabs down to the very edge of embroidery hoops. My only complaint is that they don’t open and close easily. I oiled them, it helped slightly.
