Best Sewing & Crafting Tool
Best product for sewing and crafting. I love that you can set the length and use it for sewing an item. I bought one when I was in high school and it just now got to the point you cannot see the measurements. This one should last me another 30 - 40 years. Great product/ .

Singer 6" sewing gauge
Plastic slider should be tight so it doesn't move while measuring. The slider on this sewing gauge was loose making it difficult to measure accurately.

At the top of my list!
My daughter wants a sewing machine to take to college so I'm also putting together a kit of the items I use when sewing. This sewing gauge was at the top of my list...literally! Can't imagine sewing anything, whether it's her prom dress, Christmas stockings, or fabric shopping bags, and not using this gauge!

Flimsy and craptacular. Not your mom's Singer prod
I already have one. Its pretty crappy. When I saw that Singer had one I KNEW it would be stiff and spectacular. WRONG! You may as well buy it because I don't think you'll find that nice, firm guage your mom had in her sewing kit...

Rough edges
I had an old one like this that worked great. This one however, has raw edges and catches the fabric. I will have to file it to get it smooth.
