    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely awful I bought these to make a large label for a quilt I made. I ironed the label after hand washing it to ensure it was permanent. No problem. After finishing my quilt, I washed it. Gentle cycle, cold water. Devastated when the ink ran all over the label as well as other areas of the quilt. DO NOT BUY these pens. Absolutely awfulQ1

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better I bought these to label a quilt. They are not so easy to use. I had hoped to write in script on the backing fabric of the quilt but instead must print as the nib of the pen does not allow ink to flow well. Also, I will not write directly on the quilt but will create a separate label then attach to quilt. If the Label turns out not acceptable I can try another rather than permanently mar the back of the quilt. To its plus side- I tested on a scrap of fabric, put it through the wash and dryer twice to test for colorfastness and it fades less than a comparable pen by a competing company.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dried out! The black pens were old and dried out; the blue ones seemed OK, but the defective one created a crisis. The pens were puchased to sign blocks for a wedding quilt. Discovering that they didn't work the day before the wedding had us scrambling to get substitutes. The pens have been returned to Joanns.
