Zig zag. Not working

Simple is good!
I own several high dollar sewing machines that don’t even come close to the ease of sewing on this one. I really like that the internal frame is metal. It sews through marine vinyl and denim like a champ. I love the dial selection for stitches no worries about a digital display going out.. This has most of the stitches you normally use. Maintenance is very easy you and don’t have to worry about plastic parts breaking when taking apart to clean and oil. Highly recommend the 4411!

This Machine is my Nightmare
I am so frustrated with this sewing machine that I am crying as I write this. I’ve seen with other machines in the past, and had no trouble at all, but I cannot for the absolute life of me get this thing to do what I need it to do. The foot pedal has almost no sensitivity, so it’s zero to one hundred no matter how lightly I try and push. The thread styles are all so similar that I wonder why they even put options on it at all. I have nothing but problems threading it. I dread using this machine.

The 4411 is an excellent sewing machine. I purchased it for my birthday in June 2021. I have sewn masks, I have mended and hemmed jeans with it. The machine works great on all material from light weight to heavy with no major issues. I highly recommend this machine

I bought this a few months ago to make quilting. It worked great at first, then the stiches started looping. I have tried over and over to change the tension, needle and thread, no luck. I am so disappointed as I am making baby quilts for my great grandchildren.. I have had a singer all my life. We live on a fixed income so I won't be buying another one.

Love this Machine!
I've had this machine for some years now, originally purchased to alter jeans and sew heavy fabrics for home projects. What a workhorse! I broke the motor parts on another Singer sewing thick fabrics but the 4411 just keeps on going! I've since used it to work with light weight and delicate fabrics and it performed quite well. Very easy to use and maintain.

Worst sewing machine ever
If I could give this sewing machine zero stars I would. This sewing machine is a piece of plastic junk! It jams every three seconds, doesn't stitch all the way through, the thread keeps getting loose. It's HORRIBLE!!!! My mom bought the same one and she only uses it from time to time and the same thing happens to her. Worst purchase ever. I am so furious. The sewing machine also messes up the stitching which ruins every piece of fabric. I am using this for my small Etsy business making pet items and I keep having to re thread the machine and buy new pieces of fabric because it jams it up. This machine was such a waste of time. Horrible on Singers part. I guess Singer is no longer a heavy duty old fashioned brand. I've only had it for a couple months.

I bought this machine about a year ago when my old Singer "died". It was during covid, and I was a beginner quilter. This machine has enabled me to make quilted pieces from the smallest bowl cozy to a king sized quilt. The throat is roomy to roll up the thickest quilt for FMQ, the power this machine has is great for thick batted projects, the plate is easily removed to allow for cleaning out the bobbin case of loose batting pieces, and the feed dogs are accessible and easy to use when necessary to drop them, It is quiet and runs smoothly as I piece together delicate fabrics, and the stitches are so accessible for appliqued pieces on my quilts.

Design problems
I have been sewing for over 50 years and this is the worst designed machine I have ever used. The large boxy front makes it difficult to change needles and the reverse button is almost above your sewing field of vision. If you have big hands, DON'T BY THIS MACHINE!!!

Love this machine. I upgraded after using a 30+ yr old machine and the 4411 is a dream. It handles many layers of fabric, easy to thread, easy to use. Lightweight enough to carry if you need to move it.
Only cons are the pedal/electric cord is a tad short and my bobbin bounces neither is a deal breaker and neither effects the sewing ability / final project.
Otherwise it functions perfectly!

Heavy Duty? NOT!!
This lightweight thing, touted as heavy duty, chokes on even the lightest of fabrics. And the bobbin tension is a constant source of irritation. Yes, I get plenty of garments made, hunched over this junk, but not without plenty of epithets leaving my mouth!

This machine sucks
I have owned this machine for about 2 years. I have probably used it 5 times. Every single time I have used it I have had to do one thing or another to it. Every time it was a tension issue. The last time I used it I could not even get 1 stitch to work properly. This machine is terrible and I feel singer should have to send every customer a better machine. I have got to buy another machine, however I can guarantee it will not be a singer.

Easy to thread, both machine and bobbin, and loading bobbins is super easy.

Wish I’d have passed this by
I bought this during the summer when my older brother machine was being over worked with mask making. First time I used it, I had tons of nesting. I watched video after video and could not figure out where I went wrong. I tried to return and they told me there would be a large restocking fee.. :(
I decided to keep it and put it away for a while. I took it out again and rethreaded over and over, watched more videos, called singer and in the end was told that I’d have to bring it in to a singer place which the closest one is 5 hours away. Never again!

Newbie, happy with my machine!
I received my sewing machine on time learned how to use it last night! I was able to sew a patch onto a jean jacket, good so far! Can't wait to use it on my future projects. Youtube videos were very instructional for a true beginner - I had no idea what I was doing but watched a video on my specific machine by Singer and was sewing in no time!

Immediate Problems
I have used sewing machines off and on, over the past 18 years. Recently, I decided to take up sewing again and got this machine. I got everything ready to go, then tried to sew. First, the pull direction was stuck in reverse. I got that fixed, then tension issue after tension issue. At last I got it going, until it suddenly seized up completely unusable. Maybe I got a bad machine. I returned for a refund.

Compared to the very old machine I replaced, this one is a dream! It’s a bit noisy and I’m having trouble with the spool holders not being tight enough to stay on, but other than that I’m really enjoying it.

I have to give this a 5 star as it would not be fair to provide a lower rating. I am not the person who will be using this, it was bought as a gift. The product was well priced and was shipped very quickly along with my confidence in the brand and this is why I feel the blind 5 star rating is appropriate.

I HATE this machine!
I bought this machine this spring to make masks. My old reliable Singer had a spring break that I couldn't replace and it is about an hour to the nearest repair shop and they are backed up about month so I needed something. I had bird nests from the first day but it was only the first few stitches. After about 600 masks, i get birds nests, breaking thread. machine becoming unthreaded again and again' I have done everything recommended to fix this. I have spent three days making about 25 masks because I keep trying things to try to make it sew. I have donated all masks that that I've made but it's not worth my sanity. Do not buy this!!!!
