Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing There are nice features on this iron, such as the extra long cord, the 30 minute auto-shut-off, the tapered point, the weight and size of the water tank. I like the easy temp selector. However, the most important feature, consistent output of steam did not work properly. That is crucial for the work that I do to prevent scorching fabrics and getting out wrinkles. I am also concerned about the number reviews that this iron leaks and the buttons break after using for not very long. I would like an iron like this with the reliability and durability of a very old basic Black and Decker steam iron that is my back up for when all the expensive fancy irons like this Singer fail.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Button for Steam quit working at 13 months! I purchased this iron at the beginning of 2023. Last night when working on pressing and steaming some quilt pieces, the steam button broke, or at least that is what appears to have happened as it is in a down position and doesn't depress or come up. I see others have had this issue with the iron. It is a shame that after 13 months, the iron broke. I used it probably once a week - not every day and some months I did not use it at all, so it hasn't been used LOT in the 13 months I have owned it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No better than my 40-year-old iron I bought this iron to replace the one I have been using for 40 years (even though it still works) since I figured a newer one would probably perform better. This iron does no better than my old one at removing stubborn wrinkles. I'm very disappointed, especially considering how much this iron cost at my local Joann store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Steam Button Not Working after Less than 6 Months Purchased on July 27, 2023, and less than 6 months later the steam button is stuck in the down position and will no longer work. Very disappointed because otherwise I loved this iron, but what is an iron without steam?? Noticed that several other reviews noted the same issue, so this must be a design flaw? :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great but not awesome This is a great iron. However there are I few things that make me very annoyed. After plugging it in you have to use the mode button to select what temp you want it to go to. Every single time. The mode button sits on the handle right at the top of where you hand goes and so the mode is easily changed even though you may not want it changed. It is very annoying.
