Perfect for small jobs!
I have been hand sewing most of my projects, and I've been making cloth face masks. In order to speed up the sewing process and be able to make more masks in a shorter amount of time I wanted a sewing machine but I'm still in school and I didn't want to spend too much. I came across this little machine and the price was perfect and I gave it a shot! It has been great!! It took a little practice to learn how to tie off the stitch so they don't pull out but there is detailed instructions and they have videos that also demonstrate the process! If you own a nice sewing machine this probably won't be too helpful to you, but if you are like me and don't have a sewing machine this is perfect!

Didn't work
It didn't work correctly. Stitches pull right out. It was missing an instruction booklet. Looked like it had been returned before. I will be returning it as soon as the retail store opens up for returns.

A bust

great product
The product works as expected, it is a little bulkier than I thought it would be. It does take a little learning since there is no reverse to lock the stitch. A little ingenuity takes care of that. It comes with a piece of cloth to test the stitching and the included threaded bobbins is a plus. Overall, I would recommend this to others.

Not what I thought I was getting.
It is not what it seemed to be, and I can't fathom how anybody without extra fingers can make it work. If I can, I'll be returning this device. It might be a great tool for someone else.

I had trouble keeping the thread in the needle. Batteries wear out quickly so I bought the adapter. Other than that, it works fine.

Power Hungry

Wastes more time than it would save
I only needed to sew 2 short seems attaching fabric to the outside of a sweatshirt pocket. This machine worked once a test piece of fabric but after multiple tries on both pockets, it never properly connected the thread. I ended up hand sewing the seems instead. That was less frustrating and took less time than trying to get this to work.

Unable to do the task I expected. I was hoping to sew on patches on sleeves. Not enough space to support fabric in between handle.

Works pretty well
I've had it for a few months now and it's pretty handy for thin material. It was a little tricky and frustrating getting it to work, but once you get it it's easy. I watched a video or 2 beforehand, it helped.

Doesn't open wide enough
You have to be seeing something really flat or only one piece of material bc the mouth doesn't open wide enough for your multiple sewing needs. I will be returning my unit.

Stitches Don't Hold!
I thought I'd try this out when my dad found one in my late mother's stuff, but now I see the reason why she never used it. The thing is unquestionably useless. I followed the directions to the "t" and all I got was an hour of wasted time trying to get the stitches to hold. Not only that, but it's irrationally loud and tends to skip stitches. The most you get out of this thing is the thread it comes with and a threader.
For all the trouble and uselessness this thing is, you're better off using a machine.
