I just place the die on the foam with the piece still in, roll over it several times, and the piece comes out. Only at times, I may have to repeat depending on the die. You don't need it for everything but it certainly is great on intricate dies!

Repeated tries of varying angle and pressure, etc. left me totally frustrated. Finally concluded it simply doesn't work. If I could give zero stars I would.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gr8 Tool Concept, Non Functional I just purchased and received this tool. Upon it's initial use, all the bristle brushes complete stripped out! The little bit that's left is ready to fall out. Please see photo and save your funds for something more useful. Also, I was expecting the foam cushion to be high density, but it was a low quality, foam sponge sheet.
