Products going down hill
I have purchased this fabric once before that I used as background in a quilt. This time the material is different. I held a old piece up against the new fabric and you can definitely see that when the machine weaved the fabric together there is definitely lesser thread used. Also, they used tons of product to make it stiff.

Pretty white dots
I love the white on white dots! They are so pretty and I have used this material in several quilts. It is tightly woven so when ironing seams open, you can’t see through it. It is easy to sew with and the dot pattern makes it easy to cut the fabric straight. I have had no issues sewing several layers together and the result is always great! I use a fresh needle for each quilt I make so never have an issue.

Great Material from
Great Fabric for inner layer of masks
I bought this material as a second layer for my mask and it is absolutely beautiful. It is just the right amount thickness to make a three layer mask complete. The outer layer i use regular cotton which I can see little wholes in the material even with two layers of it. But this material is very tight woven so using it as a second layer behind a thin piece of cotton you barely can see any small specs of light. The third layer(pocket) i use an ultra breathable material that is silky and soft that makes this mask breathable with great coverage. If you use two layers of this material that should be ALL you need. I seen someone mention with multiple layers the needle was not able to penetrate the fabric and I don’t think you should use multiple layers because it is a thicker, tightly woven, cotton fabric maybe as one layer in a three layer mask or two layers by itself.

Not recommended for masks
Not recommended for masks which require multiple layers of fabric.
I found the dots on this fabric to be very difficult to sew through. They seemed to be "rubberized" dots, and when sewing more than two layers of this fabric, my Brother 3600i could not penetrate the fabric. Since I am using it to make masks, it requires several layers of fabric be stitched which almost ruined my machine. I have had to add another fabric to the edges that require multiple layers.

Attractive white material!
This was one of the few remaining white cotton fabrics. I purchased it to make masks, the inner layer of 3 layers. It is so pretty, I use it as an outer layer too to make all white masks. The quality of the material is very nice & the weight is good for masks. Also, the pick up service in Hamden, CT was very good. Very pleased all around.
