yarn pilled while I was knitting the sweater
A short time ago I purchased Bernat Softee Chunky to make the Circle Aroun Knit Cardigan. After finishing the top down body portion I knit the sleeves on double pointed kneedles. I notice the sweater was fuzzy (pilling) before I finished the sleeves from turning the sweater over and over. Ive never had this happpen to me b efore. I was very disappointed with the yarn. I'm afraid to wash the sweater for fear it will 'grow' after reading one of the other reviews.I'm enclosing a photo of my sweater - haven't woven in all the ends yet - but this was not a fun knit

SOOOO FUZZY!”
Very soft yarn with no problems with knots mid skein, etc.... but I made a small baby blanket, and it’s SOOOOO FUZZY! UGH! IM THINKING IT WILL BE MUCH WORSE AFTER LAUNDERING! I will not be buying this yarn again!

Bernat Softee Chunky is a great yarn to work with. Works up fast, doesn't split and you'll end up with a soft, pliable handcrafted hat, sweater or blanket. You can even make larger amigurumi with this yarn. Comes in tons of great colors to mix and match and best of all, is machine wash and dryable. Love it!

Love it

Great pop of color yarn

Nice Chunky Yarn

I like the Softee Yarn
I love the yarn! However, there's an error on the website. Slate is not Slate. I got something closer to grey ragg. The Slate on the site is grey with blue and green flecks. That's what I REALLY wanted but I made it work. Of course, the Joann person was oh so not helpful when I pointed it out. I hate shopping in the store so I always do online and pick up.

I noticed after I finished my blanket this yarn was shedding a little. I was able to pick fibers off with my fingers. I would be careful using this for children.
