Feels awesome but has definite drawbacks!
I purchased this fabric to line a corduroy coat. The fabric is soft and warm and so far is working well as the coat lining; however, this FAUX sherpa is Dry Clean Only so making a coat with it for a child would be expensive to clean. Also, the backing of the sherpa pills A LOT and not even from wearing it, but from sewing it as well. Since I'm using the fabric as a lining, the back of the sherpa won't be visible but if someone were to make a lightweight jacket or sweater I would definitely recommend adding a lining to the garment so the pilled sherpa backing won't be seen.
Unless you're going to either use this fabric as lining or as a jacket with the addition of a lining, I would not recommend it for clothing.

Poor customer service
Fabric itself is decent. I specifically ordered 6 yards to ensure a full bolt since it was advertised you get a slight discount if you order a full bolt. My business focuses on reducing waste and therefore I only order in full bolt pieces. I received two 3 yard pieces. No where upon checkout did it state my order would not be continuous. And why advertise a discount for a full bolt, if you don't even provide full bolts. There are over 100 yards of this certain color available, the response that you didn't have a full bolt to offer is highly unlikely and I'm not buying it. Disappointed with Joann's customer service.

Nice and comfy!
I really like working with this faux sherpa and the red color is great. I love to use them for my business of making plushies! It is a little messy, but I don't really mind.
