Great, but no shank or direct buttonholes.
I grabbed a bag of these gear "buttons" in my stores button section, and didn't notice they are not actually buttons. They are decorative elements to sew on to projects. I will find another use for them, probably as a gear brooch.

Nice quality!
These gear embellishments look quite nice, just like the advertised picture. They are sturdy, so I'm not worried about any scratches or breakage. More smaller ones than bigger. We used them to decorate friendship boxes our fifth grade Girl Scout troop made. Overall recommended!
