DIRECTIONS:

Notes
These super simple scrubby dish cloths are worked in Garter stitch (knit every row), changing color every two rows to form stripes.
When changing color, do not cut old yarn color until instructed. Carry color not in use loosely up side of piece until next needed.

Scrubby measures about 6 x 6" [15 x 15 cm].

DISH CLOTH I: With A, cast on 27 sts.
Row 1: With A, knit.
Join B.
Drop, but do not cut A. Carry color not in use loosely up side of piece.
Rows 2 and 3: With B, knit.
Drop, but do not cut B.
Rows 4 and 5: With A, knit.
Rows 6-37: Repeat Rows 2-5 eight more times. Notes: The last row worked will be a 2nd row worked with A. You will have a total of nineteen stripes from beginning: ten A-colored stripes and nine B-colored stripes.
Drop, but do not cut A.
Rows 38 and 39: With B, knit.
Cut B, leaving a tail to weave in later.
Row 40: With A, knit.
With A, bind off loosely.

DISH CLOTH II: Make same as Dish Cloth I, reversing the yarn colors.

FINISHING: Weave in ends.
