It should ideally be used with a vertical spool pin, but also works well on a 14/90 metallic, embroidery, or topstitch needle.

Love the sparkle
I used this to sew a fancy stitch on a serape I made, with regular Sulky metallic in the bobbin and a Schmetz metallic needle. It is spectacular! I just love the results and after figuring out that I had to sew a little more slowly than normal to keep the threads from breaking, everything went perfectly. I can't wait to use this thread to embellish other projects.
