How To Get It
Sulky Premium Invisible Thread is a very fine .004 polyester monofilament that is soft enough for baby quilts or garments that will be worn next to the skin. It is much more heat tolerant than nylon; it will not melt with normal ironing through the cotton setting. It is perfect for machine "hand-look" quilting, stitching in the ditch, invisible appliqué, and hems. Choose smoke for darker fabrics and clear for lighter fabrics. This is the size for you if this is your go-to thread for machine appliqué and quilting. Works well in the bobbin.

Wonderful thread!
Used the Sulky Invisible thread to tack down appliqué on my grandson’s quilt. Used the Thread Director to prevent tangling. Very pleased with the results.

Love it!
This is the first time I used the invisible thread for quilting (both in the bobbin and on top)—Sulky Invisible thread, 2200 yards, with over 111,000 stitches, and still have some left. I must say, I LOVE it! Thread tangled maybe twice during the entire time. I had to change out the bobbin twice. I love how I can mess up and it doesn’t really show. I used a #14 embroidery needle, but it left pretty big holes in each stitch, so maybe a smaller one would be better.

Great thread for machine embroidery!
I use sulky for all machine embroidery projects because of the excellent performance and my projects always looks great. The sulky thread slides through my machine smoothly with little or no breakage!

I got a sewing machine for Easter of 2015, and I searched high and low for thread that would work in it. Nothing was working and the thread was breaking! Finally, I found this embroidery thread, and it's the only thing I use now. I recommend this for anyone who has a brother machine, or anyone who needs a heavier thread with gorgeous colors. (The only problems I have are when I accidentally pull too hard on it, and it snaps. It has only done that with one of my colors, though.)
