Perfect for my project!
I bought these needles to finish a knitting project. Project for the job! Easy to thread the yarn through the eye and smooth needle for going through the knitted pattern.

Needle split at the eye
With less than 20% of the project done (yarn on plastic canvas to make a tissue box cover) the needle split at the eye of the needle. My son and I are disappointed in the quality of this product.

Great needles
I used these when I used to crochet and now I use them to thread elastic into the casings of the masks that I've been making for the last 18 months. They're also great to teach very young children to sew through cardboard pictures that you make for them and poke tiny holes in--gluing pictures to cardboard and then poking tiny holes around the edges and giving them leftover yarn to practice stitching.

ok for some projects. not one size fits all
These are made big enough that you can easily thread standard plain yarn but are too big for small projects (won't go thru between the stitches very well) and too small for chunky or fancy yarn. There was not other options for size.

The right tool for the right job!
I bought more to replace one I have probably had for 20 years in case I lose it. They are great & the perfect thing for assembling a knit/crochet project where you need a needle that can handle the thickness of yarn. Being plastic and blunt, they will slip between stitches and not split them, allowing for a very neat job assembling the project you worked so hard on.
